The orc in studded leather chortles a bit, before guffawing into full laughter. He slaps his knee and shakes his head. "That's brilliant! This guy's a natural, he's so funny!" This causes the other orc and the half-orc to laugh, and the elf to smile. The two archers above do not join in, but they do pull their bowstrings back a bit.
Then, almost as quickly as it started, the laughter stops. "No, seriously," says the orc, smile dropping as his crossbow comes up to rest on his shoulder. All pretense of mirth has faded, and the orc's jaw is set. "You either pay the toll, or you go back the way you came."
