Maenor checks the other flasks of water, and if they have the same properties as the first gives one each to Kalis and Daniel. Then he goes to see what Coda is up to.
Apr 15, 2017 3:25 pm
Kalis and Daniel now have a flask of holy water.

Coda jumps and claps in excitement as he punches through the door; he makes his way back over to the door, tying his sling back around his head and pulling another bullet from his pouch. Reaching the door, he sees if the bullet is easily deposited through the small hole. He turns to his servant "Can...can you fit under the door?"
Apr 16, 2017 7:10 am
The hole in the door is more like a crack the width and height of a flattened hand or sword blade shoved into it, and the bullet is easily slipped through and clatters against the floor.

Coda receives no response from the mindless servant. Maenor, in fact, steps around the corner just as Coda asks the question.
Apr 17, 2017 2:30 pm
Maenor looks at Coda quizzically, "I very much doubt that I can."
Apr 17, 2017 3:10 pm
Coda jumps in surprise, oblivious to Maenor approaching "Oh, Maenor, Maenor, come come." he motions over to the door "I managed to make a pee hole for the door and am able to fit these through it." he digs in his pouch and pulls out another bullet "I could use another brain on this. Anything in your repertoire that could make use of my pee hole and this bullet?"
Apr 18, 2017 9:25 am
Maenor smiles, "Indeed I do." He takes the bullet and murmurs some words over it, after which it begins to glow brightly. Maenor presents it back to Coda with a flourish.
Apr 18, 2017 9:59 am
Coda smiles "Hey, you're pretty...bright." he chuckles to himself as he grabs the bullet, pushing it into the hole and viewing the room.
OOC:
His pun made him laugh more than I thought apparently.

Kalis joins the others at the door, "What do you see?"
Apr 18, 2017 1:31 pm
Coda shrugs "Nothing that you would need to use a pee hole on. Now we just need a way to open it now."

The Light-infused bullet clatters and bounces once before it settles and and illuminates the room. Coda can see a chamber bereft of furniture, with plain walls. Several hundreds of bones lie scattered across the stone floor like a thick carpet.

There are three other doors against each wall of the next room.

"Might it be easier to just clear the zombie room than to deal with trying to get through these doors?"

"Unless someone has a way to unstick a stuck door, I think that is our best course. While it isn't ideal, there isn't much else we haven't explored."
Apr 18, 2017 5:38 pm
"Well, if we want to really hurt them, we could light some oil in their path, let them crisp up a little bit before they reach us... though we might have to deal with flaming zombies then..." Kalis muses, "Of course, it looks like we found some holy water, too, so that might be useful here."

"I may have something that could work, in theory, it is a bit risky but so is facing a mob of undead in close quarters. If we are going to fight them anyway I'd like to at least try it out first before we all act. Maybe it'd give us a better advantage and, if it fails, we'd just fall back to our current plan of attack."

OOC:
Has anyone tried forcing this one open first?
Apr 18, 2017 8:09 pm
OOC:
No one has tried.

OOC:
I ain't the "kick down the door" type, so I'm out of that equation :)

Maenor smiles, "Anyone care to give me a hand? I'd like to try to open this one before facing a gaggle of zombies."

Straining against time, Maenor pulls against the door. There is a creak, the thunder of wood stretching, and a final crack as the door is flung open. Maenor barely keeps his footing, but the door is now open.

The chamber would be dark, were it not for the Light-infused bullet that rests next to the threshold. Everyone can now see what Coda saw, an empty chamber save for the hundreds of bones scattered across the floor, and the three other doors against each wall.
