Daniel steps agilely through the group, his long rapier slipping past Coda for a quick strike before he darts backward to disengage.

The zombie, barely held together from the damage taken earlier, is easily taken apart by the combined attacks of fire, steel, and disparaging remarks about its compositive state. It falls backward into the chamber.

The other zombies, seeing Coda brandishing the mask, appear reluctant to approach. They also do not back away, reaching forward for the halfling yet barred by some invisible means.

The skeletons also remain where they are. However, they appear unhindered in their attempt to fire their shortbows at the party. One arrow cracks into the wall where Daniel used to be. The second gashes Coda as it pierces through his armor (23 to hit AC, 4 piercing damage).

Seeing that the zombies are temporarily halted, Kalis changes targets and launches a bolt of fire at s4.

Daniel lunges around Coda, repeating his previous attack against one of the zombies that stand beyond the doorway. He disengages to slip behind the golden mask.

The zombies flail at the doorway, apparently unwilling to approach Coda. You all notice that when Daniel stepped forward, he immediately attracted their attention, but the rogue was too quick in his retreat for them to engage.

The skeletons continue their ranged attack, firing two arrows at the group. Skeleton3 seems to reel from the arcane whispers, but its arrow manages to strike Coda (disadvantaged 17 vs AC, 8 piercing damage). The second arrow snips Coda's hair, but passes harmlessly by.

Coda wavers as the arrow strikes him, almost dropping the mask, he shakes his head and raises the mask back up "That...That the best you got? You overgrown dog chew!"

The skeleton's jaw clatters in response to Coda's words, but it does not seem fazed by the insult. Coda senses a cadence to the clatter that sounds like laughter.

Daniel finds a certain rhythm to the attack, lunging forward yet again and stretching his rapier out for the zombie. He pulls back before the rotted walking corpses can retaliate.

The rapier manages to find only cloth as it rips the tabard off the zombie, exposing more rotted flesh.

Skeleton3 sidesteps out of the descending flames, but walks right into the path of Kalis' Fire Bolt. The blast shatters the sternum and blows through the spinal column, scattering the bones into a wide arc as the shortbow falls to the floor.

The remaining archer fires another arrow into the fray, but only strikes the wall next to Coda.

The zombies shuffle in place.

The bullet blows through the clavicle and practically disintegrates the shoulder blade of the skeleton. It wobbles precariously after suffering significant damage from the tiny blunt projectile.

Satisfied that his bleeding had slowed enough that he was no longer in imminent danger, Maenor draws his light crossbow and moves forward far enough to aim at the remaining skeleton, just over Coda's head.
