[closed] 2400 legends in Calimport

I just love the 2400 Legends rule set.

I also love Calimport. (DnD 2e FR middle eastern Indian sourcebook)

Would anyone else like to bang these together?

Three options for metaplot:
(a) the players are petty criminals doing deeds for a variety of sketchy employers;
(ii) the players are noble underdog revolutionaries seeking to topple the corrupt power structure of their drudach or sabban;
(3) the players are witch-hunters employed by the padishah to rout unlicensed magic users.

I'll toss my hat in the ring. I vaguely remember Calimport and have had a little experience with lighter rulesets (Stars without Number).

Not so fussed about which metaplot. I guess I would lean more towards A or 3. "A" seems easy to jump into. 3 sounds interesting.

I, too, quite like 2400 (Legends (and Quest... or was that something different:)), and recall the name Calimport, but not much more about it.

If you don't fill this up I would like to give it a try.

All the metaplots sound interesting, though I might rank them A,ii,3 in order, but it is a weak order. :)

I could run with two players. Let's see if we get one or two more. I will open a game for this later today. You can start making characters. We will start with metaplot A. Your first task will be to break the thief called Ginseng out of the lock up in Eraré Sabban.

I've been wanting to try a 2400 game, Legends in particular. I don't know anything about Calimport though, so not sure how much that matters, but the description sounds interesting. If you still have room, I'm interested to join.

Still open. We're starting with the petty criminals metaplot but it might morph at some point.
