[IC] A More Game-y Sort Of Game (BitD)

As I recall, character creation went well, but as soon as we tried to implement the BitD mechanics we ran into walls. They are clunky in PbP, but I do still think they could run very well if everyone already knew them, or if players were interested in engaging with the swiss-clock. BitD is a game that heavily rewards proficiency with the rules.

While I quite enjoy running Blades in the Dark (and think it gives GMs a lot of good tools) it is not a game I want to be player in: none of the playbooks are things I want to play(†). So I will pass, thank you.

(†) (I do have slight interest in trying to play a ghost/hull/vampire combination at some point.)

Oh, I meant those ones, yes! I guess I was thinking of the whole site as an SRD. XD Are there any playbooks exclusive to the book, or the Deep Cuts supplement?
I was looking at the Spider book, but I don't quite like its XP-generating approaches (and maybe want a non-book ability). :V

Well, thanks for your input anyway! If the test phase I have in mind goes well, we might open the game for more applications, but let's not get too far ahead of ourselves.

If you do open it later, I'd be interested. I've long wanted to try BitD in the hopes of being better prepared for running a Girl By Moonlight game.
