Yea, I assumed you would explore for a bit before triggering this fight, so it ended up being a bit more difficult than I anticipated. But the dice are in your favor, and it looks like you're going to come up on top.

I'm going to be out from next Tuesday (April 29) until the next Sunday (May 4). We are making a trek down to Disneyworld and I will not be able to respond to posts. I should be okay to respond until that time. If I am in your game, please bot me as necessary. If you are in my game, sit tight and I'll pick up when I return (though as I said, I should be able to post up until Tuesday).

Oh yes, that would be a feature, not a perk. If we can't follow them up to finish them off, then we set the webs on fire and burn the tree as we depart.

Setting the webs on fire is likely the set the whole tree ablaze, yes. There is no way to hack through the webbing either - your swords will get stuck in them.

Just feeling a bit of an impasse. We need a way out to pursue them, but waiting for the webs to go away (if they will?) prolly isn’t the best course of action. Thoughts, anyone?

The webs will go away, eventually. You can wait near them, assuming the witches don't have any other way to flee from the topmost floor, or you can explore the rest of the hut. Or risk setting the web on fire...
