✅ The Game System and Rules Version. I just read through the new release of Grimwild. Loving the rules. I'm a big fan of the Azag setting. Like most settings, you don't really have to buy that to enjoy the game. Trust me that it has evocative tables, eldritch locations and situations. Plenty of fun stuff for a good time.
✅ The Pitch. You're a small group of adventurers who have just plundered the house of a sorcerer in the Amaranthine City.
Now you flee the sorceror's ethereal servants, who move through dreams. You need to find some kind of ward that will keep the servants away from your sleep. Your dreams grow increasingly strange and worrisome each time you sleep.
✅ Adult Content or Controversial Themes. Insomnia, dread, and whatever dream horrors you describe.
✅ Lines and Veils. Graphic gore, torture, sexual assault all are LINES do not cross. Bloodshed, sex, and general cruelty are VEILS that may be alluded to but no detailed descriptions.

Quote:
The City is all opulent towers of blue crystal and marble that seemed to grow overnight. They had, in fact, been summoned from some other place or time by the city's rulers; a cabal known as The Amaranthine Sorcerers. This order draws power from a mysterious patron who demands only a tithe of dreams from any within the metropolis. Now, either the wizards or their master grow ambitious and seek conquest of further realms.✅ Adult Content or Controversial Themes. Insomnia, dread, and whatever dream horrors you describe.
