OSR Interest Check

You're familiar with the game / WWII commandos angle?

I'm more familiar with NSR (FKR) style play than OSR. I'm not new to GP, but I've also not played in many games here. I think playing an OSR game would be fun and I'd love to learn about it through play.

No I did not know that. I am former military though.

Hey squid, I wondered if you might surface. I'm purposefully not getting into the weeds here on the OSR / NuOSR, Neo-OSR, OSR-Adjacent / NSR / FKR / etc. quibbles. The same overall spirit runs through this stuff, and I think simply saying "Non-Retroclone OSR" is fairly effective for what I'm trying to do.

Please confirm that you're interested here and I'll get invites to the game out this week. As mentioned above this game won't be formally launching until close to the end of the month, but we can spend some time character building, getting to know one another, and figuring out what we all want from the game. Same! I have been working on a Dark Sun game using World Without Number rules. If anyone's interested let me know! Looking for players new to GP or to Dark Sun/WWN.

I may be depending on the game, both game system and the story, as well as GM but I I know botb of you are great GM's so that's at least one less thing I have to evaluate.

Unfortunately I don't think we have an easy way to tell which OSR interested players who answered the poll haven't gotten into those two games. But there were some other games with lots of interest.

I just watched a You Tube breakdown of Worlds Without Numbers and it sounds very interesting. I would be in for a game.
