Let's take a moment to talk about inventory in Cairn. It's pretty unforgiving. When you fill your tenth slot, you A) cannot carry more, and B) your Hit Protection falls to 0. So while encumbered, if you take a shot -- it goes straight to your STR, potentially forcing a Critical Damage save.
I personally think 10 slots is too few -- coming out of chargen, most characters have already chewed up 6-8 slots, and that doesn't lead a lot more room for treasure, better weapons and armor, adventuring gear, spells, etc. I haven't decided to houserule anything just yet, but I also don't want people getting frustrated.
Let's look at each PC.
Nessa: Is that 'Storybook' the book that Vivian just handed over? If it is, you have a few slots free still.
Wren: Quinn's Tally Stick is a Petty item, so you can track it there rather than having it hog up a slot. That should mean you have two slots free.
Sable: Looks good. You have two slots free.
Gann: Your inventory is full! That means you're loaded down and moving slowly, and that if you get into any kind of scrap -- your HP is 0. Might want to offload some things...
Open to general thoughts on the inventory system...
