Drgwen PC Creation Thread

Please review the Principles for Players on page 5 of the Cairn 2e Player’s Guide, then proceed to character generation on page 8. That is, work through Background, Name, Inventory, Attributes, Hit Protection, Traits, Bonds, and Age. If you end up being the youngest PC, determine an Omen as well.

Ok! A hella lot of rolls incoming. The only thing I sill specify before rolling is that my character is a woman.

Wow those are terrible stats! Let's see.

Background: Rill Runner (hmm, I am not sure I like that! I'll roll another and decide.)

Attributes: Str 5, Dex 9, Will 13. HP 4.

Traits: Stout physique, marked skin, bald (!), perfect face, blunt speech, antique clothing, serene but vengeful (? kinda at odds there?). Age 28.

Bond: Journal
You inherited an old Journal, bound in bark. Each evening, its pages are filled with the events of the day, crassly written from the journal’s perspective. The writing is crude but accurate.

I work in Transport. I deliver "delicate" packages throughout the lands. I have at least one contact in any major town.

Gear: Rations (3), Torches (3), Water shoes, Brigandine (1 armor, bulky), Compass, Dagger (d6).

Cool character art! Did you generate that or pick it out from somewhere? Sorry to nosy in on your character thread, I was just looking for an example of how it’s all done!

I used an AI character generator. I generally try to avoid AI, but do use it for pbp character art when I can't find what I want

Dig the art -- and I'm the same. Prefer hand-drawn stuff, but have found generators (mainly Midjourney) very good if it's just for a PbP game.
