I'm also adding one for public/private game. Though I'm not sure if there's a GP policy against public games with swearing 🤔

Thanks for the invite! I'll read through the rules tomorrow morning and roll up a character.

It looks like we're going a bit faster than the 3 posts per week rate that I set on the recruitment thread. Please don't feel pressured to post quickly. I'm just going ahead with the story when I see that everyone has done their post. (And also because I happened to have the time this evening :D )

My available time is usually just Mon-Friday, but the weather kept me inside more than usual this weekend. Also, work has been quiet so far this week. (Yeah, I probably jinxed it.) Some weeks it can be a struggle to check the forums more than once a day.

At least it's progress, next one will be a 3 ;D

I'm enjoying the pace and the RP so far! So not pressured at all. When life gets a bit more hectic for me, it will slow down anyway.

It would be kind of hilarious if we all ended up jumping into a pit toilet when there was just a secret door next to us. Also gross.

It would be hysterical and gross, but "the tavern owner's mug-washing cloth just hanging on the edge of the hole." is the clue he went that-away. There's no reason for him to put his rag on the toilet and run out a separate way. In either case, we should not be in the building when it's demolished :)

Did I forget to mention the door? Oh bugger! *evil grin*

Apologies, the weekend was busy. Not to mentions yesterday was one of my holidays. :)

No worries :) I know how life can get sometimes. Hehe.

With PbP it's sometimes tough to know how long to wait. So, I will try to move the story along every 2-3 days (not including the weekend) either way. If anyone misses the chance to do what they wanted to, we can always discuss it OOC and add it retroactively.

My character sheet should be updated now with equipment and details.

FYI, I have a surgery in a few hours that may prevent me from posting for a day or two. No worry, though-- the surgery is a happy thing--it's a gender affirming procedure.

@Degwen, Sorry, I was sure I wrote down the different omen options somewhere here, but I can't find it. So I must be mistaken.

I've added them to the rules thread now. You can use an omen to lower the DR of a check by 4. So if you're 4 or less off, it becomes a success.

Last time I did this adventure nobody saved Elma. Nice to see a different outcome here :D

It occurred to me, too, that I spent my Omen to save an NPC that just tried to extort us. Which is... not very Mork Borg of me! Oh well...

Hehe. I see what you mean, but I disagree. Chaotic actions are surely in the spirit of Mörk Borg!

At least we can use omens to help each other if needed, right? Maybe we'll be resting for 6 hours soon and can reset omens.
