Itching to Start Playing

Wow, writing one of these feels just as awkward as standing up in front of a crowd and introducing yourself...

My name's Todd Crapper (AKA the Warden), owner/lead designer for Broken Ruler Games and I'm on here to start running some PbP games, including a playtest-by-post of my upcoming extreme genre mash-up, High Plains Samurai, and get into some casual playtime in other people's heads. Not entire sure what else I want to run at this point, but I've been leaning more towards story games (or those systems with lots of player narrative control) to avoid flipping through a character sheet at the office. Wait, did I say I'm looking to play something while at work? How grossly inappropriate of me... and accurate. Anyway, signing off with a couple of self-promoting links because we're still looking for one more player to join in our High Plains Samurai game. If you're interested (and especially if you have a copy of the system behind it, ScreenPlay, but I could take care of that problem for you if you don't), let me know.

Welcome Todd, glad to have you aboard. I'm very interested in story games, but haven't successfully convinced either of my IRL groups to try one. I've been itching to run a Trollbabe game here, or maybe Hillfolk. Shouldn't do either, as I have novels that aren't getting written fast enough, haha.

Yeah, real life can be a major pain that way. Totally understandable as I've been down your road before. Or at least a road like it, maybe even running parallel at times.

Thanks, everyone. I've been eager to get on this site and start running games for my system, ScreenPlay, as well as HPS, plus playing in at least one. OK, maybe only one. Trying to keep myself from overplaying (if such a thing exists).

We do have space for one more player (though with two others already wanting in, I'm kind of forced to "screen" who would the best fit). If you already know ScreenPlay, that would make things much easier. Even if not, send me an elevator pitch about you. It's literally an audition for a script writing game. Hashtag irony.

There was a movie called "Killshot" staring Mickey Rourke and I remember seeing a mobile game called "Kill Shot." Though you may recall my failed Kickstarter for Killshot Reloaded.
