Character Sheet Gone

I was editing a character sheet, and when I hit 'save', it was all gone. [the sheet in question]

Now, when I try opening it again, it looks a bit weird on the browser:



Is there any way to restore this particular character sheet from a backup?

What do you see when you edit it? Is it just empty?

Yes. Even the character name is empty, and I definitely didn't delete that either.

Hmm, I tried it with one of my sheets and I get the same result when I delete all contents and the title. So I assume something went wrong during saving :(

@Keleth is there any way to recover it?

if you edit the sheet, is it emtpy there aswell?
Or did you mess up some of the BB code

It is completely empty. I haven't updated any BB code when I made the changes. Once I pressed 'save', everything was deleted, including the character's name.

The same happened to me a few days ago. I have a new ergonomic touchpad which I have trouble getting used to and I think I hit the double press button instead of the single click button on it when I went to save.

Actually tested this on another character and was able to recreate by pressing save again before the page reloaded.

Delirium, is there any chance this is what happened to you?

I don't see anything in the sheet that could be helpful for diagnosing this, it is just empty in the database too, so I have restored it to what it was 24 hours ago (the 12 hours ago backup is broken):.

Yes, @Furmyr, @vagueGM. I remember being impatient and hitting 'save' twice in quick succession. Maybe three times (I'm not admitting to more than that!). I'll be more careful in the future. Hopefully.

OK. It is good to finally have an answer to this mystery. We will try look into a way to prevent this bug since it kinda sucks.
