Good day all.

My name is Rich and I found my way here via the Burning Wheel message boards to join a game started here. It is always good to find another place where gamers hang out.

I've been playing RPGs since the 1st ed of AD&D came out and while I still enjoy bashing an orc with a mace and taking his stuff, I'm more looking to play some of the indie stuff that I enjoy.

Burning Wheel, Torchbearer, Apocalypse World, Dogs in the Vineyard, Primetime Adventures, and the Amber RPG are towards the top of my want to do list. Hope to find some fellow indie gamers on here or at least some curious people willing to give a new system a shot.

Welcome Rich! I'm surprised and excited to hear GP is being spoken about in other RPG hangouts! I know SharkBone has tried to get Burning Wheel going a time or two, and I hope it's catching! You'll definitely find people are interested in trying new games on GP, and games that get played get priority in development.

Hi Rich/Verrain, and welcome to GP. I'm pretty interested in non-typical RPGs myself. I'd totally get into a DitVineyard game - I've been leaning to running a Trollbabe game here - maybe after NaNoWriMo.
