Character Creation

This is shaping up well, too. One thing (just for clarification) when you say she found some clues that led her to the far isles, I'm taking that to mean she's not a local. Is that right?

So we have Trusty and Offbeat shaping up.

We have Stalker and dbcowboy who look about done, but haven't been heard from in a few. If you guys are still interested, give a yelp.

Then there's jomsviking whose character still needs tags, weaknesses, quests as far as I can tell.

And son of irony who hasn't shown up in the game yet.

Yes, that's the idea. I suppose I forgot to mention it now that you asked, but that was always my image of her. She left some other not-so-far-away part of the world, and came searching for Kialla on the Far Isles.

Is it possible that she stayed for a couple of days with Balam? He has a one-room cabin on the property that he sometimes rents out for money or trade mostly to hunters, but sometimes to astrologers, or campers or solitude-seekers. It is far enough away from the main house, that the occupant is mostly undisturbed by Balam and his family.

He also sometimes uses the cabins to house seasonal help and ranch hands. It isn't unusual for Balam to pick up labor from the port and put them to work fixing fence-lines, building projects or working the herd (depending on the occupants' abilities and the time of year) in exchange for some pay and access to a one-room cabin with a lockable door, a small stove, a bed and a desk.

However she paid, she's already left, but her room hasn't been touched since her departure.

Æsop has followed the adventurers chronicling their stories and feats with objectivity. He only deals in facts, though these facts have a tendency to showcase failures rather than successes, and omit him as anything more than observer.

I'm not sure where the disconnect is, but once again:.

Each character has four THEMES.

Each THEME has two POWER TAGS (positive) and one WEAKNESS TAG (negative).

Each theme also includes a QUEST.

What you have is one theme with five power tags, one weakness tag and one quest.

So I need 3 of each but weaknesses. Just keeping it updated so I don't have to slog through the forum. Will likely just steal the format of someone elses build and cut it to form.

That is a lot of quests, how do they work in play?

You need a weakness for each theme as well.

How quests work in play...

1: When you achieve a SIGNIFICANT milestone on one of your quests, you mark a milestone. At 3 milestones (which should be when you achieve your goal, for a finite quest, or push it as close as humanly possible) you get to "evolve" or "expand" that theme. You can either replace it with another theme that represents your character's new direction, or you can expand it, by replacing another theme with a theme related to this theme.

2: when you turn away from your quest in a significant, you mark abandon. When you mark 3 abandon, you replace your theme with a new theme that represents your character's change in direction.

1 & 2: Both represent your character changing. If your character is already perfect, there are ways to reset the counters so they never change.

Just an empty custom sheet, and put the info into it.

Those more experienced with the site and the formatting option could help to put a sheet 'wireframe' together to have a consistent layout and look over the sheets.

I don't know how to write those codes to get the desired format. Is there a filled-up format available?
