@generalet, if it's ok with you, the table would have Urukh be a Charlatan: a person who pretends to be a Celebrant of Mag, but doesn't really understand the rituals or have great faith in the past present or future existence of Mag. Sound ok? (It would be quite surprising for him to hear the Voice …)

I had similar thinking.
Urukh is not not a legit priest.
Not fixed on the exact details, but I see him as a crook posing as a priest. Pretending to hear the Voice if it benefits him amonst other thing.

But I'm open to ideas.

@anirtak, @lemagne, please submit characters when you get a chance!

totes_mcgee I know you're busy today. I will hope for your character submission tomorrow. Even though it's basically done in this thread, I'd like to have it in the little window that pops up at the bottom of the screen.

jomsviking, I'm going to need you to accommodate +1 +1 +1 as your character's stats. He is what he is — for now.

Actually @jomsviking, maybe I should swap entries on my "table" and your guy could be a Coldlands Axebrother with a bull on his shield. Thoughts?

That would make so much more sense. I just cannot picture a minotaur of average strength.

If you played FF X you could think of a minotaur like Kimahri who was a smaller build Ronso.

Don't think I requested access for the sheet earlier. Figured you'd make it public.

Request sent now.

@Totes_McGee,@Anirtak the character sheet template should now be shared with you and I've also made it publicly viewable.

Not sure how to edit the Google sheet. It says "view only."

You could save a copy to your own Google folder.

I didn't mean for the "cool" sheet to be a barrier. If it's a hassle please just make your own.

I'm a low-tech guy, so I'll just make something simple.

Not sure how to share template, but I made a quick sheet.
You should be able to copy the code and paste it onto your sheet. You can then edit it as you see fit.

A rule that I only appreciated after seeing another GM impose it: please don't edit posts in the game thread. Stuff can get missed misunderstood or confused by editing a post after or during follow up posts are made.
Mar 27, 2025 10:32 pm
Sorry, disagree with this rule.

I reread posts after submitting, and correct typos, formatting, or oversights. In this case, I forgot to bold certain dialogue.

Letting us edit makes for cleaner RP.

Here, check out these rules. One key change is combining HP+load into a Max Strain value, which gives you control over how tough your character is v how much they carry. Another key change is that spells aren't lost when you cast them.

Anyway, the Door is open … let's delve! ?

Never got a response to my above post about editing.

Are you sticking with the no-edit policy or not?

I think we'll take it as a guideline to not make substantive edits to posts.
Mar 31, 2025 10:02 pm
As I noted, I frequently edit my posts, and worrying about whether my edits are "substantive" or not cramps my style.

Therefore, I'll leave the game.
