I'm looking to experience a Gestalt game using the 5e 2024 rules set. I realize 5e hasn't released its own set of published rules but it isn't very hard to extrapolate a set of rules based off of the official 3.5 Gestalt rules.

Tamar Moonshadow is a halfling Shadowstalker (class name I've made for a gestalted Monk shadow warrior/Ranger Gloomstalker).

Starting level is entirely up to a prospective GM (anywhere from 1st to 8th).

I'm open to any game concept that involves a more roguish nature. The story concept that spurred on the creation of this character can be found beneath a spoiler below if you are interested, but if you have some other vision/direction, I'm definitely open to it.

Side note: I'm looking for a long term game, ideally such that I could see this character grow to much higher levels of play.

It's one of the reasons I like gestalt games as it allows a party size of 3-5 rather than 6+. I've found that with PBP a smaller group has a better chance at longevity than a larger one.

I also like the versatility and increased functionality that gestalt characters provides without increasing the action economy like with a larger group.

With only the Player's Handbook to use, I would think 5e 2024 far less OP than the seemingly millions of options available when gestalting in 3.0/3.5.

I would be interested in playing.

Would be interested in playing a Rogue (Arcane Trickster) // Cleric (Trickery)

I'd also be interested in trying Gestalt, though more as fellow player than GM, still quite new to the site and want to get accustomed to it before I try running anything.
