The Strielwall mountains are slung between three continents, forming the spine of a mighty, three-way isthmus that joins the greater land masses of Firevault, Mar, and Norilund. It is a beautiful land, loved by its peoples. Icy rivers cascade from the steep mountain slopes
into the plains of Strielund and Haverlow. Tall, primordial forests stretch all along its southern edges, from rocky Uttvelt to verdant Noripur.
Inlets and lakes teem with fish, and the seas around it crawl with the longboats of fishers and traders. The winters are hard, but the growing seasons are long and productive. A dozen proud nations nestle along its shores, watched over by a dozen Powers of the earth. In recovered fragments of the Seree grand survey, the Tristhmus is simply called "Area 8".
Here are many places of danger, treasure, and hidden lore. You seek them and delve them. Why?

Hi.

I just remembered that for years at this point I've been wanting to run Trilemma Adventures. In particular, I'd like to run them using the very simple Dungeon Goons rule set.

I do want to modify the rules in one respect: instead of 10 HP + 8 Load stats to start, I want to use one Strain stat starting at 20.

Please let me know of interest.

This would be a near-daily posting game.

No graphic violence or sexual content; my descriptions of combat will be the lines of "you hit them; they hit you; you hit them and defeat them."

I'm interested!

Ok. We need a reason why we're exploring all the different adventure settings. Are we:

• mad scholars seeking knowledge of the fallen, disappeared Seree (elves) or the even longer-vanished Martoi (dwarves)?
• treasure hunters seeking loot?
• soldiers seeking weapons?
• stupid thrill-seekers?

For intro:

All the existing people are varieties of humans.

I like the first two reasons, myself. Though the last one could be fun too?

What do we start with?

We begin in a fishing village near the south end of Halfnight Lake (SW corner of map above). We've been traveling through the land called "Once Martol", seeking rumors and lore of the Martoi for our purpose. In the village tavern, we heard it said:
Quote:
Beware those cliffs (southwest of the village). A multicolored lynx up that way demands travelers give up their wine!
What more urging do we need to explore?

Sorry if I'm missing something because I'm new to these forums but I'm not seeing where to apply.

Let's note a few things about Once Martol:
• The entire land is as black (at all times) as Darkvale on a cloudy night; no guides will take travelers into it willingly.
• Animals seem unaffected by the darkness. They are also enormous and territorial (as is common in wild places).
• Lamps and torches seem to shine only feebly here.

Halfnight Lake is on the border of Once Martol, and as the name suggests, the western half the lake is all times black as night while the eastern half experiences night and day. People who live on the shores and fish the waters do so out of desperation; the water and the fish are bad.

I think if you click Game Details button at the top of the thread you'd be able to "apply". I also will "invite' you.

Go to first post in this thread and click on the red "game details" button. It will take you to the game. Scroll to the bottom of that post and there will be a red button for applying to the game.
