Anyone on the fence, I highly recommend joining, especially if you enjoy the roleplay as much if not more than rolling dice. htech has a vivid imagination and the TinyD6 system allows for more flexibility than most. Three thumbs up (channeling my inner Xorn)!

I'm curious how a sandbox with no leading plot works. Though I know nothing of the system, I have played other simplified systems like Index Card RPG. If you are fine with teaching, I'll give it a shot!

Totally understand the curiosity — "sandbox" can sound a bit abstract at first. While there's no single leading plot that pulls all players along, the city of Waterdeep is alive with things happening: factions making moves, monsters causing trouble, NPCs with agendas, and so on. There are also (optional) adventure hooks your character can explicitly grab onto — jobs, rumors, allies in need, rivals, etc. You're free to pursue or ignore these as you like, and players' choices will shape what unfolds in the city.

As for the system, I'm more than happy to teach — no problem at all! All the necessary rules are posted in the forum and available to all invited players. It's designed to be quick to learn and light on crunch, which helps keep the focus on storytelling and roleplay.

Before moving forward, I'd love to know:
1. What posting frequency you’d be comfortable committing to? (e.g., 5/week, 3/week, etc.)
2. Are you familiar with Waterdeep, the Sword Coast or Forgotten Realms in general?
3. Do you have any character concept / background already in mind?

Looking forward to hearing more — and hopefully seeing you in the City of Splendors!

To answer your questions:
1. I typically play at a rate of at least 1/day. No issue keeping that going.
2. Less familiar with Waterdeep specifically, but I do have about a year of experience playing in a Forgotten Realms campaign. So I have scattered knowledge here and there. You won't have to explain general setting things like tendays, etc.
3. Nope, not yet.
