First Combat Encounter

As you get into your mech you establish communication with Snake who announce he is few miles behind intruders.
You have protect mechs and base at all costs: the 3d printers that was not blown up will allow pirates to create more mechs and weapons - that would be a death sentence to the colony. But they would manage to print them fast enough before snake arrives with his (more advanced) mech and establish control.

You primary mission is to protect mechs, systems and weapons currently deployed in the base to not allow pirates to use that resource against snake
Your secondary mission - repeal attack without Snake (it will make sure you save your own life)
There are 6 Everest hulls in the base (2 for each of you). You can set up two of them and board one. If you feel like loosing Everest your job is to initiate self destruction of a mech and retrad to hangar to board your second mech

please everyone post here to acknowledge you either have 2 mechs created for this battle or you choose to have two eqal build mechs (recommended)

Your base visual representation - there is a central building for mechs and smaller for systems, weapons and workshops for printing spare parst and installing them of the mechs.

Note that fence around are mostly to prevent animals getting into the base, but mechs will simply ignore it. Nevertheless trees provide you soft cover while structures - hard cover as per rules

We will be playing the battle on a grid without the nice picture. It will instead be a color coded grid just as in rules to better unerstand the line of sight

Sasha returned to and mounted Harbinger. Once strapped in she opened a channel to Snake. "Marshal to Snake. Baracuda and I are gonna try and hold down the fort and give you time to haul ass back here... Any last orders before we engage the enemy?" She walked and talked as she moved Harbinger into position.

@Choomie I still don't see your character avatar (picture) on Gory - that's why I put a question mark in map grid for your mech. I would really appreciate if you can add the avatar to your character and let me know if you have any technical difficulties with that.
You see over the building roofs a huge robot approaching from south. Some of you could notice a a few mechs of same size as you having flight systems flying over trees not far from it, though it is hard to guess how much of them as nearby buildings obscure them. You do clearly see a pair of such mechs approaching from east though

Now I want all of you to describe your round 1 turn. I will resolve them as if they were all simultaneous. Then I will resolve all enemy turns - also as if they were simultaneous.

Seeing the large robot to the South, Sasha decides to take it out as quickly as possible. "Focus your fire on the Robot to the South... Let's take it out ASAP!" Then fires Harbingers Howitzer at the Robot

ooc: FYI, the leadership dice Sasha gave you does not need to be used right away... you can retain it for the entirety of the encounter.

@Drgwen yes you can deploy one of your 3 mines as quick action. In compcon if you hove over mine it will explain you the limitation

So I guess you want to move to an appropriate location and deploy mine there, so please explain me your movelent and name exact location for the mine. And remember you have 2 quick actions.

@Drgwen you don't need long range weapons, enemy will come your way. Sasha's picked the long range weapon have quite few limitation, for example I believe robot had full cover from her due to hill and house being between them that than mean +2 difficulty (summary 3 difficulty and 1 Accuracy means you roll 2d6 and extract from your 1d20, but
1. I forgot to explain yellowish areas are hills and provide full cover
2. The high roll of 17 makes in a hit anyway
3. I don't exactly recall/understand how that cover and line of sigh stuff works for blast damage

Gory was now piloting his squat, teal-colored mech he affectionately dubbed "The Fatty Bombulatty." Over the mech's left shoulder was a large tube-like weapon, and as Gory got to work in the cockpit, the tube lowered. He aimed the spear-like rocket towards the cluster of enemies closing from the south.

Lane radios her companions and asks, "Y'all staying put inside the enclosure? If so, I'll mine the entrance. If not, well, then I won't!" She moves east toward the exit of the enclosure, to LL28. If her allies say they will stay put, then she drops the mine at KK29. If they say they plan to leave the enclosure, then she won't!

You normally do two quick actions or 3 if you decide to volunteer taking heat on your mech. Not to mention extra pointed out by Balthazar

@Choomie I have problems to find "RPG" ewapon in core rulebook, could you tell be page where it is or share your PC code to find description on compcon.app or quote weapon description here, thanks. I just want to let you know there are no enemy in range 10 of your mech
