Decklan’s Infiltration or Attempt Thereof

Decklan where are you headed? What is your strategy?

Decklan will find a place in town to sit and observe. A short rest if possible, but if and when he sees any members of the gang he'll approach them.

Saw some of 'em wander through earlier... gotta only be a matter of time before some more do th' same.

Decklan, it takes you only 2 hours to spot a pair of gruff looking men with red bandannas around their necks heading down a small side street just past the Townmaster’s Hall. With your passive perception you notice that their movements are controlled, deliberate, and they seem to be focused on something in front of them.

Seeing his targets, Decklan will rise and move to follow them. He won't immediately call out as they seem focused, but he'll tail them more or less in parallel. May even see if he can see what they're so focused on.

Decklan as you tail the Redbrands, looking to see what they’re so intent on you see it’s not something, it’s someone. Down the way, a short distance, you see a large figure crossing the dirt road examining a house with a blue door. As you get closer you realize you know the large frame. It’s Trakomak.

Trakomak as you turn to go check with the neighbors you see two gruff looking men coming out of a small ally between a ruined stone wall and another house.

Decklan stops advancing, choosing instead to watch -- and hopefully listen to -- what exactly transpires here.

Being a gruff looking half-orc Trakomak is mostly afraid the two humans are not satisfied with him peeking around.
Good day, good people. Looking to rent a house. Do you live around?

Trakomak the taller of the two men gives you a nasty smile, "Time for you and your little friends to move on, stranger. Give us your stuff, and we might let you be on your way."

My little friends? What are you talking about? Trakomak inhales deeply trying to understand if the person who speaks are drunk ... though it is not easy since Trakomak had a few of his own. Wait, what - you say I'm a stranger, but you know my friends?
Trakomak is not afraid, he is simply confused. The message according to his simple and drunken mind contradicts itself.

Trakomak you do smell alcohol… but maybe that’s just you? Both men have red bandana’s tied around their necks. "You’re dumber than you look, block head." Sighs the one who’s been talking, his friend pipes up.

"Let’s just kill him and be done already."
