Hi! Any WFRP players?

Hello everyone! I recently have gotten heavily into WFRP 4e, and was thinking of GMing The Enemy Within here.

Good evening! Do i get this right - there is a Warframe ttrpg? And 4ed to boot? How did i not hear about it? Granted i haven't touched it for quite a while, but the last things i remeber were comics and some threads on reddit about tabletop non-rpg ideas. Crazy.

Hey! Welcome to Gamersplane. Yes I run Wfrp, but 1e, currently running The Enemy Within and Paths of the Damned as separate campaigns, I know 4e has shown up a couple of times in the tavern but not sure how far they got.

Big fan of Warhammer (be it Fantasy or 40k). I would love to play if anyone runs it.

Yeah, I ran some 4e when I returned to the site three years ago to try out the system. Spesifically Rough Night at the Three Feathers. I found combat to be a bit cumbersome for PbP (each roll is opposed which means a lot back and forth that takes time), and would also advise to use the alternative Group Advantage system from Up In Arms.

Always up for giving it another try though.

Welcome lobolito! I grew up with WFRP 2e, which is still my preferred one. Even in at-the-table games 4e was cumbersome to me. I can only image it's worse in PbP as Furmyr mentions.

I love the WFRP campaigns though. They bring back great memories!

Oh. That makes more sense, i guess. Saw WF and Enemy Within together in a sentence and thought - huh? Am i reading this right? Turns out no.

Another big WFRP fan here, though I've played and GM'd Enemy Within among others. Welcome and enjoy your time here!

I've quite enjoyed Knifesedgegames's Paths of the Damned campaign, and have enjoyed the 1e of the rules. I haven't tried 2e, or 4e, or even Warlock! which I understand to be an OSR ruleset that can be used for WFRP games (IIRC).

Oh no you mentioned an OSR and summoned Harrigan! WFRP is always fun, though I've never got to play it for any length.

Rude of me to not also welcome lobolito. Welcome to the GP community! Even if it's not WFRP, many of us love grimy, gritty, mud and blood RPing!

I've been a WFRP GM since the 1980's and we are considering this site as a potential replacement for Tavern-Keeper.com. I'm just working through the set-up of the features we need to run the game including Custom Character Sheet, and Campaign Wiki.
