LC looks at Alice and Said-Ma and says
"Go and find a broker and see what type of standard freight, you can find to move Fornice."
Looking at "Tamm, Rin, Leilani and Bronz
" Fan out into The Star port, since we're going to be stuck here for 3 to 4 days and find out what you can on cargo
that could be shipped as far as cargo to Fornice. Look for the unusual and exotic. Try not to get set up by some shady Art collector dealer, looking to offload some religious artifacts. Use your common sense when evaluating these prospects."
"I am going to what passes here for information on raw materials."
" Everyone cannot go off to the 4 corners of this high port. So, figure out among yourselves in engineering and commerce divisions, so one person stays here while the others go out searching for potential cargo. I want this ship manned by no less than two people at all times."
When LC leaves the ship, he goes to what passes as the high port Commodity exchange and sees who is working there. He asks around for who are good broker of commodies and who to stay away from. He then goes to the exchnge listings and scans down the list and looks up their reputation of several offices and picks a commodity broker that has medium to low reputation. He then goes to that office to introduce himself to find out what cargoes are available. He then repeats this process at a couple other commodity brokers to assess what can be procured, and what is out of question.
" Hi, there, my name is Louis Rains. I'm the Captain of a small, far trader, the Miss Fortune and I'm looking for some cargo to move and I was wondering, what is available and what kind of deals do you have right now."
EDIT
"I was looking for any basic raw materials, basic ore, crystals or any pharmaceuticals. Or maybe some arts items?"
