Feature Suggestion: Improved NPC selection

I really enjoy creating NPCs for my games. It adds a lot of immersion when each character has a portrait, and some details that the players can reference. The problem is that when selecting a character to post as, the dropdown list is ordered by the time each character was added to the game. This makes it hard to quickly find the NPC I want, and I often end up scrolling through the entire list (which gets longer and longer as the campaign progresses).
[ +- ] Unordered List
So here are a couple of suggestions:

Nice: Sort the character list alphabetically to make scanning easier.

Nicer: Implement a filterable dropdown, so that as I type, the list narrows down to matching character names. This would significantly speed up the posting process, especially in games with many NPCs.

The character selection dropdown in the "submit a character to a game" has a similar limitation, but it’s less of an issue since I only add NPCs to a game once, but posting as an NPC happens basically (almost) every post.
[ +- ] submit character list
Anyways, will be happy if this is considered for improvement. Hope it isn't too complicated to implement ;)

You can always create a shared sheet and use private sections to hide content from players. Then just have an npcs table which when you bite the sheet with that table you get another drop down menu sorted in the order of npc on the table.
My shared sheet for tiny into
If you want the list broken down then just make multiple tables and each with have it's own drop down
Thus with a single "character" sheet you can have multiple NPC

You can add stats and use check boxes with additional code to enable character specific skill or attack rolls, etc

I typically just have a public shared sheet and separate GM sheet for each game

I'm sorry, that completely went over my head 😳
I got up to creating a public sheet with my NPCs on it. But how do I post as each NPC using that table?

I use the npcs tag too. I use the npcs tag in an abilities section (so I can quickly edit it). For one-off NPCs, I use this on a private custom character sheet that I submit to the game (as a DM). I also have a shared player sheet with the NPC names and portraits.

To post as an NPC, I just click their picture and it adds the [npc] BBCode to my post.

So for your method I don't know how to order it and that could be something for Keleth to look at however you can use the NPC tag and NPC lists on one sheet. This would also let you add multiple NPCs in one post if you want.

Pop the below in the sheet -
[ +- ] Code
Then then you open the sheet in quick post the pictures pop up and you just select the picture and it will insert the corresponding NPC tage like so.
[ +- ] Picture Example: Super mild Carrion Crown Spoilers in terms of some NPCs
If only one NPC tag is in the post, you post as that NPC, even with out a sheet. If there are two or more it looks like so.
[ +- ] Example: Super Mild Pathfinder Carrion Crown spoilers of the very first scene
Edit: Damn got Ninja'd by Adam while I was compiling the post!
