@HeroOfSometimes: Thanks for confirming that Itami wants to build a human Intelligence-based wizard.

I am interested .
I haven't had the chance to make a character but I can work with you on one that would fill holes and fit setting.
@Smiley, honestly whether you go "Skills heavy" or "Combat heavy" or a combination of both, that would work pretty well given the party has 3 spellcasters....
We are starting at Character Level 3 and using the "Background Skills" outlined in Pathfinder Unchained.
Were you still looking to make an ambush predator sort of character, possibly a halfling (which are very much like nomadic warrior tribes in Midnight, similar to a Talenta halfling from the 5e/Pathfinder Eberron setting)?
One of your previous posts said this:
I was thinking about doing a Elflings, or Halfling and (somehow) doing a Wildlander & Defender mix.
A beastly man who hunts like the beast in the woods.
Dropping down on all 4 and chasing after someone.
Pouncing and tackling victims.
If you have had a chance to look at the Midnight character-building book, "Adventures in Midnight" that is linked in the GM's original post in this Recruitment Thread, you will know that Midnight uses "Heroic Paths" that are a key way of shaping your character's abilities.
If you want to be primal in 'flavor' of character and fight in melee, then IMHO the Heroic Paths that suit the concept best would be either
--QUICKENED (gives you the speed and advantage on Initiative checks and increased Movement to chase NPCs/monsters down)
Or
--BEAST (free claws, gradually make your natural attacks magical)
OR
--WARG which gives you wildshape though sadly not till Level 5.
