You suddenly find yourselves in that 6’x6’x6’ niche—the one that was shooting deadly bolts of lightning a moment ago. Beneath your feet is a pentagram inked in blood.

Orlando steps out into the 20’x20’x20’ room. There is a corpse of a twenty-foot-long Kaligator. Somehow, it is dead and its clones have despawned.

"That was nice work, ladies. Unfortunately, I can’t travel by pentagram-teleporter. One of my exes put a curse on me. Well… seven exes cursed me, but only one cursed me in a way that’s pentagram-specific."

He takes the bullwhip from his hip, whips a fixture at the top of the room, and giving it a good tug, he leaps and swings, joining all of you in the crowded niche.

He removes a red key from his pocket.

"Even if she hates my guts, she did give me one of the keys to the temple."

The door opens. It leads to a twenty-foot-long corridor. At the end is…

"Awww, shit."

…another pentagram teleporter.

After a few seconds of slumping in shameful defeat, Jones asks Casey, "Mind giving me your Shoe Number?"

She turns her attention back to her fellow Bombshells. "Now then, if we're all set, then let us proceed and see what this 'Temple of Doom' has in store for us."

Casey's mouth waters at the scent of freshly fried kaligator. Maybe she could pitch that as a new snack at Dysneo World next time the Bombshells were visiting? But that would have to wait.

At O. Jones' request, she happily writes down her number and makes sure he puts his in the phone also.

Before stepping on the next teleporter, she takes off her fedora and says, "Well, Mr. Jones, do you think you'd mind autographin' this hat for me? I really love your lemon-lime soda."

So far this was her standard fare. Diamond was one of 'those' fairies, the type who trouble always seemed to find. A bit like the more famous Tinkerbell and her friends except her stories weren't recorded anywhere except for a very few that went direct to arcade or VHS and were basically sold to scam people who wanted to watch the far more famous fairy.

"Ready as I'll ever be. Let's see just what is inside this here temple and maybe the things inside will realize that the Doom here is us coming in."

…and you appear in a malodorous hallway. The source of the stench is the meaty chunks on the floor—ribs and intestines protruding from broken plate armor and shreds of bloody cloth. Only one corpse is intact enough that you can tell these are military men.

Casey dodges, ducks, dips, dives, and dodges as the rifle toting zombie sprays dark energy their way. But it turns out being able to dodge a wrench is useless when trying to dodge energy pulses.

As she closes in on the trigger man, Casey pulls a knife from behind her and tries to stab him between armor plates.

Gong-Ju dives for cover! Several bullets ricochet off a corpse’s armored remains!

Sparks burst around Casey’s heels as she tries to evade! A few dozen bullets catch her in the chest! As a result, she has a tiny scratch along her collar bone and her dress looks like a tray full of lit cigarettes was dropped on it.

(One wonders why guns were even invented when something as tiny as a bullet hurts so much less than a punch.)

OOC:

The Unreliable Narrator says that, but still, Casey takes 💔 damage, so bullets are pretty effective, albeit in a video-gamish way.

Princess Diamond flies up against a wall. BLAM! Suddenly there are over a hundred tiny holes in the wall the size of her fairy fists! Apparently, this weapon is designed to shoot birds out of the sky, but a fairy is so much thinner than a plump robin. The zombie missed.

Unfortunately, so did the fairy princess!

But the mermaid princess has better luck! Gong-Ju skewers the rifleman and Casey finishes him off!

Murasaki leaps over the bullet-hell and knocks the shotgun guy’s head off with a flying kick. "Aw, thanks a lot, lady," he grumbles. "I’m not even gonna bother eating your brain. What good’ll it do when my throat no longer leads to my stomach?"

He shuts up after that, either because he’s finally dead or just ran out of things to say.

Anyone who isn’t a fairy can pick up the shotgun or the rifle. Both are almost out of ammo, but still, they could prove useful later (or in the next room).

• You can only carry one weapon at a time.
• You can only wear one armor piece.
• Every pick-up has a weird rule that goes against everything you’ve been brought up to believe in.

AVAILABLE PICK-UPS and how they work:

SHOTGUN
☢️ = FAR SHOT: normal damage but you can’t miss.
㊙️ = CLOSE SHOT: triple damage on a combo!
㊙️+☢️ = BOTH BARRELS: normal damage on a miss, double damage on a hit, quadruple damage on a combo!

RIFLE
☢️ = FAR SHOT: double damage on a hit.
㊙️ = RIFLE BUTT: nerf enemy attack on a combo.
🕹️+☢️ = STRAFE: if you combo on the 🕹️stunt, the number of 💥s acts as a multiplier for the damage from the ☢️attack.

The door before you reauires a red key, which you already have. Enter carefully when ready.

Murasaki doesn't take the rifle or the shotgun, as she's not a very good shot. However, she does search the dead men for some sort of insignia that might reveal who they were working for when they were alive.

Murasaki notices a patch on the soldiers’ uniforms.
Her third-eye is able to read the symbol, comprehending its meaning: The Mark of the Doom Slayer.

Once you enter the next room…

PINK BULL GIVES YOU HORNS

You see a large arena. There are hundreds of zombified soldiers in the stands, but all are trapped behind thick plexiglass. They’re not trying to kill you. They’re cheering.

What will try to kill are the half dozen pink creatures—demons that resemble minotaurs, but the bullhead is part bull and part bulldog, and the body might best be described as Neanderthal Demon. These ‘pink bulls’ would be seven feet tall if they stood fully erect, but with their backs arched, their heads are at just the right level for biting and goring.

All this can be seen through the knotholes in the crude fence in front of you, which puts you in the position of being able to see them without them seeing you! But the cheering crowd has their attention, so as soon as you step into view (or attack), you will certainly have their attention.

Murasaki hops onto the top of the fence, balancing on it precariously before leaping at one of the Pinkies at the back of the pack. She slams into its skull feet first and follows up with a series of punches, her fists burning bright with ki.

Casey strafes and takes out a demon! That gets the attention of the other five! They rush you—but the fastest of them run right into Murasaki’s attack!

The three remaining demons run a wide berth around her!

Princess Diamond’s stings take out two more pink demons. The last is taken out by Gong-Ju’s shotgun blast! The zombie crowd goes wild.

Anyway, it seems the weapons you found are highly effective against demons. There’s enough gas in the chainsaw and ammo and the guns, that they should help our Dear B☢️MBSHELLS with the next room fulla demons.

But one problem: you don’t have a yellow key or a blue key. And the naked demons you killed certainly don’t have anything on them.

Suddenly there’s a huge explosion on the north side of the room! Chunks of wall and pieces of zombie fly into the arena.

The zombie’s dead fingers have a rigor-mortissy grip on the pin to a hand grenade. Once the smoke clears, you can see a formerly-hidden passage. Inside are more zombies that got blown to bits and a box with a red cross on it.

Tap the box to open it. There may be medical supplies that can dress Casey’s wound!

"Thank you," the imp replies. And while the peace offering might have been all he planned to offer, Murasaki’s respectful tone prompts him to do more.

"Since you were kind to me… unlike those mean zombies who locked me in this box," he bitterly mumbles before continuing (rather chipperly), "I will be kind to you.

"The Revenant is beyond that red door. He has cannons on his shoulders that he expected me to operate. Y’know… to kill you. But I… well… stalled. I said I never fired a cannon; lemme study one."

The imp then pushes a mount of band-aids aside, revealing a tiny bazooka.

"It’s actually very easy to use, as long as your fingers can fit the trigger grip."

Murasaki takes point as they head into the dark room, keeping her chainsaw prepared in case she needs it. She's not sure what to expect from the foe that the little imp mentioned, but it at least sounds like they may not need to worry about the shoulder cannons.

"Revnant? I heard you would like us dead. Come and face us if you dare." She calls into the shadows, hoping to draw him out. She listens intently for the slightest noise that wasn't made by her or her allies.

The explosion lights the room, revealing three demons hooked up to charging stations.

"It’s business," says the Revenant. "Nothing personal." His tone suggests he’s above it all, whatever it might be.

But the Mancubus cuts him off. "BOY AM I GLAD TO FINALLY REMOVE THE PLUG FROM MY ASS." He farts loudly as he pulls his hefty form away from multiple plugs, all of which were actually hooked to his upper back.

The Unwilling rolls his empty eye socket.

Feeling refreshed from the teeny demon's bandaid, Casey charges into the room, rolling and zigzagging to avoid the barrage of rockets.

Avoiding the worst of the rocket blasts, Casey still gets launched into the air by one. But luckily, it sends her flying right at the Revenant and she smashes its skull-like face with the butt of the rifle.

Murasaki manages to evade the sudden salvo of rockets by diving behind a fortuitously placed piece of machinery.

When the attack is over, she leaves her cover and rushes down the Mancubus, revving her chainsaw. She carves a deep gash diagonally across his torso. She's covered in a spray of blood and viscera that soaks into her once purple gi.

Some of you come out of the attack unscathed—all of you hit back! The mancubus is bloodie! The unwilling’s torso now has a big hole to match the one on his head! Casey’s rifle bashes the revenant’s head, and when she makes a second strike, she clubs one of the impzookas on his shoulder!

"You’ll pay for that!" But the one rocket that fires sails past Casey! Its homing feature finally kicks in—and it veers toward Diamond!

The mancubus tries to dive on top of Murasaki!

Murasaki lifts her chainsaw just in time to impale the incoming mancubus on the business end of it! She holds the demon aloft, revving her weapon for extra damage before flinging her foe across the room with a brutal swing. Rushing him down, she follows up with a horizontal slash.

A small TV screen in the Bomb Shelter clicks on. The picture is snowy at first, but a squiggly image of a man in a hat appears and, aside from the occasional static flicker, the picture eventually becomes clear.

The combination of Casey’s knives and Murasaki’s flying kick works like a charm! Murasaki’s off-ball kick propels her away from the slowed ball and Gong-Ju rolls out of the way so the two don’t collide!

This leaves everyone at a safe distance, except Casey—but thanks to Diamond’s protective magic, Casey is able to barely outpace the metal ball (for she is sprinting in heels)—

Our Dear B☢️MBSHELLS[/f] turn the corner just as the metal ball bashes into the wall at the end of the corridor!

This cuts off the way back, but then, didn’t Orlando Jones say something about a teleporter?

And standing in the center of the room, on an ash-covered symbol of the moon, is a tiny imp. She doesn’t have a spiky body like the other little guy. She wears a ribbon in her hair and a bikini.

Murasaki somehow understands that telefragging means killing someone by teleporting to the exact place that someone happens to be standing. Even the hardiest of cyberdemons would die instantly from being telefragged. All of you are quite sure the imp didn’t do this by accident.

"I’m Sandy, by the way," she says with a bow. "You ladies were respectful to my friend, so I’m going to help you. This teleporter leads to a hot spring. It’s really hot, but I think you can take the heat.

"At the bottom of the spring is a Blue Key. That’ll lead you to the biggest demon here. He eats souls. If you can kill him, he’ll barf up all the souls. Those people will still be dead, but they’ll be in a better place. The Cacodemon’s innards are an official circle of hell.

"How I know that… that’s a story best left untold."

When you get out of the bath, Sally meets you in the hexagonal room. She has shot gun shells, bullets, gasoline, and tiny rockets for the impzooka.

"I couldn’t tell you his weakness, but the weapons you have are made to kill demons. Including the impzooka. There’s been some in-fighting."

With more than enough ammo to kill the last demon, you keep moving. The iron ball that rolled after you is embedded in the wall enough that you can squeeze by and head back to the arena.

NOT A SOUL REMAINS

There’s no longer a crowd of zombie spectators. Just blood everywhere, including the stands.

HELL FROZEN OVER

The blue door opens. A chill runs down your spine. Not from fear, but the frigid temperature. The hallway leading to the final room is coated in ice. It’s impossible to walk. Fortunately, you have a fairy friend who can sprinkle dust on you.

OOC:

You won the coin toss, so I’ll handwave any need for a roll. In other words, Diamond does NOT need to use her custom stunt. It automatically happens (via "cutscene") and she still gets to roll two actions.

It’s just as well, since to get to the final room, you need to scale a large shaft. Flying is quicker and quieter. You recall that demons can’t hear a thing through closed doors, which means you’ll get the jump on the Cacodemon.

You enter a room which reminds Princess Diamond of Queen Elsa’s castle—particularly at a time when her mood was rather dark. Razor sharp icicles line the walls, ceiling and floor.

And floating in the center is a big, red blob. Soldier legs and arms dangle from his lipless grin. There’s a helmet slowly dripping down his chin, leaving a trail of mashed brain.

His beady green eye flickers toward you just in time to see your attack..!

Murasaki’s devastating attack slices the Cacodemon from his sneering maw to his multi-horned scalp!

But the only time the demon really feels it is when her chainsaw passes by that beady green eye!

Given Chainsaw Massacre is a multi-target attack, I think it’s a fair call that hitting three targets (parts of the huge demon) means Murasaki discovers the weak spot.

To hit the eye, your attack roll needs to combo, and if you take two offensive actions, neither roll can miss. (In later rounds, can miss on defense, combo on attack, and still hit the eye.)

To deal with the very big she has to get very small. She shrinks herself down to the size of a pixel and then slips right into the creature's bloodstream. From there she flows to its heart and instead of making herself bigger she makes its heart bigger. So, big, huge even! Let's see if it will keep pumping or if it will burst...

The horns bump Casey aside and the snot-rocket bursts as Gong-Ju deflects it—acidic goop narrowly missing the mermaid!

OOC:

Casey and Gong-Ju each lose their Heart of Burning Passion, but are otherwise at full health!

When Murasaki fends off her attack, the Cacodemon pays dearly. Blue blood splashes everywhere!

Do you think I will fall so easy? Already, your littlest on is in my he—uurk?!

A globe of flesh expands under the Cacodemon’s chin—it explodes!—and as gallons of deep blue blood spill to the floor, Princess Diamond tears her way out of the giant demon. The fairy herself stands thirteen feet tall!

Though the demon is over twenty feet in diameter, a person that large tearing through him like that has already spelled his doom.

OOC:

Blood is gushing from the Cacodemon! He will take 25% bleed damage next round.

The Cacodemon’s beady green eye flickers to its severed horn and the pool of blood spreading beneath the giant fairy’s feet.

You have no idea what I am… you cannot… esc… aahh..!?

The demon vomits a river of black! You all see what the "river" is just before it overtakes you! It is comprised of dark souls—distorted shapes big as men, resembling men!—they claw at each other, biting, ripping the flesh off each other. Their broken bodies mend as quickly as they are destroyed!

All of you are knocked back by the souls! They do not deliberately attack you, but it’s almost impossible not to get attacked!

OOC:

Bombshells! This attack is nearly impossible to fend!
Gong-Ju, Casey and/or Diamond,
Use ☢️DEFENDER to keep the souls off of you and your friends!

☢️DEFENDER
Spend GIRL POWER to negate an attack vs. 2 or more players.

• On a 💢MISS, the attack only misses one person. You decide who.
• On a 💥HIT, the attack hits someone or something. The GM decides who or what.
• On a 💥💥COMBO, the attack is negated!

• If the first to use Defender rolls a COMBO, nobody else needs to defend at all.
• If someone rolls a HIT, a second person rolling Defender will auto-succeed.
• If all three of you MISS, one Bombshell will get hit (or KO’d if she doesn’t have a Heart of Burning Passion).

No matter what happens, take two actions.

Murasaki, you don’t have Defender. You can either let your friends save you, OR you can use a 🕹️SECRET MOVE that protects you from a cheap attack that is (normally) impossible to defend against.

Special: Gong-Ju is in mermaid form, swimming in the river of souls. This attack will hurt like hell, but it might not KO anyone, depending how the Defender rolls go.Diamond is wading thigh-deep, so if she does get hit, she’ll be kicked in the shin, taking half damage!!!

Oops! She hadn't exactly been calculating things perfectly right. The demon's heart was supposed to get bigger not her! Now, she was like Alice when she'd eaten the cake and grown to ginourmous size!

What made everything about the situation even worse were the demonic guts and blood all over her! Not caring who heard her she said, "I am never, wearing this outfit again and I'm taking three showers when I get home!

Then the shower of blood and guts gets even worse so she does her best to help her friends.

Casey whirls her whip at magic powered speed, trying to smash and bash the dark souls as the river pushes them at Princess Diamond.

"I'm sure a good exfoliating scrub and a dry cleaning at Diana's Bath springs will take care of that," she says with forced optimism.

Then she lunges at the bleeding cacodemon, one of her daggers tightly gripped in her hand.

Murasaki's nearly washed away by the river of souls, but she manages to grab onto Diamond's hand. "Thank you. Bombshells! Our foe weakens! Do not let up!"

Gaining her footing within the 'river', she makes her way towards the Cacodemon, rapidly bounding from soul to soul. She leaps right for the demon's green eye, foot outstretched for a flying kick. She clings to his face after the attack and tries to follow up with her chainsaw to blind him completely.

The Dark Souls form a wide berth around Diamond’s magic and Casey’s whirling whip!

The B☢️MBSHELLS’ attack isn’t enough to finish off the Cacodemon, but as he’s about to retaliate, the souls turn on their captor!

Countless white wisps fill the air! (Diamond reverts to her normal size to get out of their way!) They tear at the Cacodemon’s flesh until portions of it slide off of its enormous, spherical skull. Its agonized, gurgling roar is cut short as the demon bursts—chunks of malodorous flesh and a tidal wave of blue blood overtake the room!

Then… all is silent. The wisps are gone. Your clothing is clean. Up on the hundred-foot-high ceiling is the eerie glow of a pentagram portal.
