It happens so fast the buildings smashed down to the ground. you watched it happen the seven story apartment building was there one moment the next gone. wind rushed at you, and it was instantly Dark outside the street lamp to the left was gone the cars here gone too. everything was gone. except the trees and the bicycles in the bike racks you looked around the freezing whether momentarily gone and in the distance-- a distance you can now see thanks to the lack of buildings - a fire burning

the buildings smashed down to the ground. you watched it happen, the seven-story aparment building was there one moment the next gone. wind rushed at you and was instantly dark outside. The street lamp to yall left was gone. The buildings all around you was gone. The cars on the street was gone too. In the distance-a distance you can see thanks to the lack of buildings - a fire burned.
There was utter complete silence

It happened in an instant.

One moment, the seven-story apartment building across the street stood tall, casting a long afternoon shadow over the cracked pavement. The next—it collapsed as if yanked into the earth by invisible hands. A thunderous crack filled the air as steel and concrete folded in on themselves, vanishing in a choking cloud of dust and debris.

You watched it happen. Not as a blur, but in horrifying clarity. The wind slammed into you with sudden violence, and the light vanished—blotted out like a candle in a storm. The streetlamp to your left, the one that always flickered at night, was simply gone. So were the cars parked along the curb. So were the other buildings.

Everything around you had vanished.

In the distance—farther than you should be able to see, now that the skyline was leveled—a fire burned. A pillar of smoke rose into the blackening sky, lit from beneath by flickering orange flame.

And then… silence.

Not the still quiet of a sleeping city, but something absolute. No sirens. No voices. Not even the hum of streetlights or the whir of distant traffic. Just a vast, awful emptiness pressing in from all sides.
