Thank you Bughu. I appreciate the mercy you're showing.
OOC:
Can we do a group Stealth check to try and continue stealthily?

Can we do a group Stealth check to try and continue stealthily?
OOC:
Yes, you can

OOC:
So if everyone makes a Stealth check and at least two of us pass we can proceed at a slow pace, stealthily.

"Be on the lookout for a rearguard," says Bughu. "I thought the camp was it, but in hindsight they were ill-positioned to be such. The true rearguard will probably be in a better spot."

OOC:
Were our rolls good enough to pass or should we wait for the other players to roll?

Erich follows, as quietly as he can.

Using the info that the cultist gave you, you are able to locate the rearguard without them spotting you. You see a group of six men and three women, all armed, and partially hidden. You figure it wouldn't be hard to avoid this group if you wanted to.
Feb 6, 2017 6:04 pm
Speaking softly. Let's go around, try and find the main camp.
Feb 6, 2017 6:21 pm
Bughu nods, having no problem with the directive. He attempts to scout a path to bypass the rearguard.
Feb 7, 2017 3:26 pm
You easily make your way around the rearguard and begin approaching the camp, seeing the plateau ahead that the cultist informed you of. You know that their camp is situated in a valley below that.

As you move closer, you are taken off guard as a beautiful blue-eyed and blue-haired woman approaches from seemingly out of nowhere. She stops about 30 feet away and nods, "You are from Greenest, yes? The 'heroes' who saved those pathetic people?"
Feb 7, 2017 4:04 pm
The woman's choice of words strike Bughu as aggressive, and he draws his hand crossbow while dropping to a crouch. Wordlessly, he sights along the bolt to cover the woman and assess her intent.

Rolls

Insight - (1d20+1)

(3) + 1 = 4

Feb 7, 2017 4:07 pm
Bughu can tell that something is off about the woman, but can't quite put his finger on it.
Feb 7, 2017 5:30 pm
Jon shrugs. "There are those who call us heroes, yes. The folk of Greenest are good people. Why do you call them pathetic?"
Feb 7, 2017 5:36 pm
"Because they are weak and so fragile. Like toys," she says.
Feb 7, 2017 5:41 pm
Bughu remains focused on the strange woman. Something about her raises a red flag, but he is unable to figure out why.
Feb 7, 2017 5:44 pm
"Enough of this," she says with a tone of finality, "My name is Lennithon the Blue and I have a task for you. If you are foolish enough to decline, I will eat you."
Feb 7, 2017 5:46 pm
Bughu stares. "You were at Greenrest," he states.
Feb 7, 2017 5:50 pm
"Of course I was. I'm sure you saw me, circling above the town as I was," she says with a unsettling grin.
Feb 7, 2017 5:59 pm
Understanding his own mortality in the face of such a creature, particularly one that can assume the form of a person, Bughu stays his hand. He keeps the crossbow leveled in a meager show of courage and defiance, and asks, "What do you want?"
