Certainly. We hat-tricked behind the line of scrimmage after the ground rule field goal.

Unfortunately team, it looks like Tsavo/Reizei had to bow out. Life was getting in the way. I've got a PM out to see how they want Reizei dealt with (either having them fade away or some marvelously dramatic exit of my own design). Putting that aside, I wanted to open it up to you guys: do you want me to reopen the game for another submission, round the group back out at 5 or would you prefer to keep it closed as a squad of 4? I'm open for whatever. If we reopen, do you want it just a free-for-all or do you want to have a focused recruitment? Also, if any of you has someone you know that wants to join, I'm game for that too.

Well that's unfortunate. So if I am not mistaken that leaves us with one of each rogue, wiz, paladin, and fang is a fighter? I think? I am OK with 4 ppl but if everyone wants to look for a 5th I am OK with that as well.

Fang's a druid. So we have ALMOST a classical set, slightly reflavored.

If you were to pick up a fifth, some kind of non-magical ranged output may be nice. Ranger or an archery focused fighter, possibly. Additionally, a cleric may not be a horrible pick up, either. But I can always adjust what you come up against to make sure you've got a fighting chance. :D

Either way, this won't derail the game. Keep on trucking and if we have to add someone new in, I'll find a way to work them into the game wherever you are all at.

Given that it seems everyone is kind of fine with either direction, I'll go ahead and roll some fate dice. If the result is positive, we'll open it up. If the result is negative, we will leave it as is. If the result is neutral, I'll roll again until I get a pos or neg result.@Cosmic -
He dropped the game and wasn't planning on being back. Wasn't able to maintain regular posting. I told him he was welcome to stick around, but he opted to leave. Unfortunately.

Also you could use reiz as a dmpc until we get out of here. I don't know if he had any supplies that would help our escape or not. But when we do get out he can just go his separate way.

It is kind of sad we lost my fellow rogue. Was looking forward to working with him.

One more newbie thing. Now I know you want us to roll the inspiration at the same time but I thought you could wait to see if the first roll sucked or not and then roll the inspiration. And also can you give your inspiration to other players?

Inspiration allows you to give yourself advantage on the roll. Per RAW (emphasis mine):
Because Inspiration allows you to give yourself advantage on a roll, it means we follow the advantage/disadvantage definition, you roll both at the same time and take the best. I'm keeping that part of RAW.

What I'm changing is allowing you to stockpile Inspiration (gaining a second point) to soften some of those times when your first throw is the higher one and you feel like your advantage was a wasted one.

Per RAW, you CAN give up your inspiration to give it to another player. I'm going to allow this only if the player you are granting inspiration to currently has none.

For what it's worth, I love that you guys have kind of adopted Stool as a team mascot.

It is pretty cruel that the drow took a mushroom child but I guess cruel does fit the drow.
Yeah Stool is a cool NPC, I am curious about a few of them but in planning mode.

Yeah, I figured I wouldn't force any interactions, really, with most of the NPCs. Let you guys figure out who you were talking with and everything like that.

I guess we will never learn Ront's story though.

Effectively, the adventure actually says that anyone that survives/escapes and is friendly with the party gets handed over to the party members to run as NPC minion people or something like that. Not sure how exactly I want that part to work yet. We'll see who lives ;)

Oh I know. It's what's fun about this part. Each NPC has their own objectives, some stronger or more ruthless than others. Each has a differing level of familiarity and comfort with the generalized geography of the Underdark. Once you guys are out, and down a path free of Velkynvelve, Sarith can easily draw you a map of the area. Under duress, however, I'm wanting to see how much Bilda "remembers" of the Underdark's terrain to corroborate one stance or the other.

By the way, I really hope you guys are enjoying (or at least finding the whole thing as entertaining, if darkly entertaining and confusing) this bit as much as I am. Coming up with some of the things these guys are spouting is so much fun.

So in case if anyone was wondering, I went to a Kings of war tournament last weekend in Augusta Georgia. My team did well with a top 8 finish and I took 14 out of 36, also my war buddy took down the best painted award.

Thank you, if you have never heard of the game I would recommend checking it out. You can google search mantic games and look at all the cool stuff on their website. They do have really cool models that you can use for d and d that are reasonably priced. Most of their fantasy line will be under Kings of War or dungeon Saga.

There's a new player in two of my games - Sinnj. He seems to want to play and post frequently. I like keeping the games moving like we are doing so whatever is best keeping the momentum moving forward sounds great to me!

So as much as I've loved playing with you guys and Ander is really cool, I'm going to have to cut this game since my game cache is insanely full and I'm spending too much time on here. Ander will now be under the control of Drama, who I trust to play him true to himself.
It's been really fun to play with you again, Cosmic, and it's been great to play with you for the first time @wpw and @monkey. May you escape the Underdark unscathed!

Just to let you know that I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow. Traveling to Florida from Texas. However, I don't expect my vacation to interrupt my gameplay too much, but I might miss a post or two. So, feel free to continue on as necessary.
