I'm working on a human medic. Former Imperial officer, left after seeing how her non-human colleagues were treated. Now works at a clinic in the city.

Building a Bothan politico. We'll see how this goes...

Sooo.. looks like a Demo-Droid, a human medic and a bothan politico!

I got access to a couple other specializations for Age of Rebellion and I think I'll play a Human Vanguard. For everyone's knowledge, it looks like something that can take a hit, bodyguard people, and has some abilities that help allies. I sent szemely a picture of the talent tree.

Looking at The Ambush Cache, would anyone mind if I took the Armored Clothing or the Padded Armor? Either is okay with me. I don't need any of the weapons, except maybe a stun grenade if no one else wants them.

What are people thinking for backstories? Aaaanyone want to have known one another before the ambushes?

Does this rarity 4 limit apply to all items, or just the attachments/mods?

Haha, oh no! Why'd I pick Ranged (Heavy)?

What are you looking to get?

Any Ranged (Heavy) energy weapon in the core book would be the preference: Blaster Carbine, Blaster Rifle, Heavy Blaster Rifle. They're rarities 5-6 though. I think the only Ranged (Heavy) 4s are the slugthrowers or a longbow.

There are two Blaster Rifles in the Ambush Cache.

I'd take any of the weapons, but can't wait until everyone else chooses one. I wasn't able to afford a blaster after I got a medkit, but could use any of them (including the other magically-appearing blaster rifle), so I'm not picky. I would love the armored clothing, though...got to keep your medic alive! ;)

My medic is almost done, just pondering her two free (human) skills.

Right, I'm just sorting my character now, I'm assuming starting Duty value would be 10 based on the number of players?

Other question would be is there a skill normally used for cooking or would that be a custom skill? Nothing standard seems to fit....

Yes, the starting Duty value for everyone will be 10. Cooking? Could make it a custom Intellect based skill.

I do that with money in real life.

Moofs, I've accepted Xin into the game. I don't see a Duty score on the sheet anywhere. You'd start with 10 unless you reduced it in order to up your starting XP or credits.

-5 Duty will get you +5 Starting XP or +1000 starting credits.
-10 Duty will get you +10 Staring XP or +2500 starting credits.

Also looks like you need to get yourself some gear!

How important is it to be proficient in some sort of weapon? At the moment my politico is all charm and deal-making.

Groovy, I assume custom skills count as non-career ones....I'll finish my character off later, just finished work and am stuck on the fullest tram in the known universe lol
