Hello!

My name is Colin. I'm a gaming enthusiast, player, GM, and would be designer (currently working on a PbtA hack). I heard about the site from the Sharkbone Podcast, love that show; shout out to Devon Kelly for keeping the show going for all this time for our enjoyment.

You can find me on G+ as +Colin Matter. I'm not really on FB or the Twitter that much, tho.

I'm currently playing in a D&D 5E game being run by my friend Matt (we used Microscope to build up our history for the setting which was super fun) and I'm running a Space Opera game using Fate that I've heavily modified from Core.

I've dabbled in PbP before and I've been disappointed by the experience. I heard that this site is trying to make PbP to be as much like gaming at the table as possible so I'm hoping to re-ignite my interest in this avenue of gaming.

Hoping to have a lot of fun!

P.S. - I'm currently in the process of moving, so I might not be terribly active to begin with, but I'll be on more in about a week.

Welcome Colin!

My goal is to make this site is to take out as much hassle as possible from PbP gaming; obviously "as close to gaming at the table" is subjective, and not really obtainable, but its something I work for every day. I hope whatever you get into on the site reflects that. Like it was mentioned on Sharkbone, another use for Gamers' Plane is as a repo for your real life games.

If you do get into a game here and have any thoughts or suggestions, I welcome it! I'll do what I can to make things continually better.

Thanks for the warm welcome Christopher/EldritchFire!

Hi Keleth! I'll definitely mention if there's something I think could be improved about the site. I do hope to get involved in something on the forum in terms of gaming as well. Looking forward to having some fun at the very least.

Hi Colin. Welcome!

Thanks for bringing me attention to Microscope, which I hadn't heard of but have now looked up. It seems like a really interesting and unique product.

Hey, welcome!
Since you mentioned "would be designer" I'd love to point out we do have a forum set for games/concepts/mechanics that people are working on. Perhaps you can share some of your work if you're up for it, and perhaps get some feedback as well :).

I'll add my howdy's to the list. I'm from Australia, which technically means I'm from the future. If you have any questions about what's going to happen, I'll tell you what I know.
