You find that in the cacophony that is the world, the only true conversationalist is yourself.

"The wolves must have scared off our forest friends." I muse to no one in particular.

Rolen, while atop your seat in the cart, as you roll towards the campsite that Baraq found some 15 minutes distant, you see no forest animals of any kind. Seems unusual....

Additionally, as you all continue on, a meteor streaks across the sky. Its tail burning brightly, it shoots to the east.

Aera stares at the shooting star in wonder before taking to the sky, feeling a sudden desire to feel the wind beneath his wings. He sticks the the group, just enjoying the feel of flight on their way to the indicated camp site.

Baraq preening her feathers practically right next to her makes Catriona nervous but she tries not to show it. Baraq? Um, I'm sorry I tried to hit you. It was stupid of me. I...it won't happen again.

"I've never seen fire in the sky like that. Strange." I stare at it a moment and wait to see if there are more.

Krieger is transfixed by the sight. Having spent so much of his life underground, he's never seen anything quite like this.

Baraq looks up at the little half-orc, and gives a series of chirps and clicks. Whatever that translates into is not given.

Catriona doesn't understand Baraq's words but she tries to guess at their meaning. She hopes the birdwoman has forgiven her.

Baraq's expression is neutral, like she wants Catriona to be able to take care of herself, but her eyes would be the aarakocra's first claim should the half-orc fail to do so.

As you all watch the sky (or the eyeballs of your compatriots), no additional funkery occurs as you navigate to the campsite.
Upon reaching the site, you begin setting up tents as the rain finally tapers off to nothingness.
Are you setting a watch, and if so, who's on it?

Baraq takes first watch. She starts by alighting upon a tall rock to gain a better vantage point to look around.

I will attempt to forage for any firewood, water, and/or ingredients to turn the wolf meat into stew.

You manage to find water and firewood aplenty. Anything else evades your - astute - searching.

Catriona has never participated in setting up camp before determinedly does her best to help. She is taken aback when Rolen asks to take watch with her, but she agrees.
