"Why would there be something in your drinks? Do you suspect foul play?"

Dramasailor says:
The leathers, while slightly large on your frame, aren't horribly fit. You'll have to cinch your belt a bit tighter than you'd normally expect this get up to require, but it'll do.
OOC:
But will it match my shoes? :-(

Baraq monitors the activity on the ground and comes to a decision. She emits a piercing call and flies toward the mountain.

As a geographic note for everyone, the mountains in question are ~300 miles (12 days ride) north of your current location. Make your prep accordingly. :)

Rolen nods in thanks for the quickness of the task completion "Can you direct me to your rations?"

Bartholomew nods his head and brings Rolen deeper into his shop.

I'm afraid if you want actual rations, you're better picking those up from the inn, or even Ellyn's Travelling Wares on the other side of the market. I keep a very meager supply, and those aren't the best. I'm mainly the gear purveyor. The other locations will give you much better quality food. However, everything else your heart would desire to travel, it'd be here.

You have no issue finding everything on your list for the prices indicated. You can get 10 rations from him, but they are definitely lower quality, and likely wouldn't feed a full person. PHB price and type you could get at Ellyn's. It's an easy shop to find, if you wander that way.

"Ah, you have my thanks, sir. Just the other stuff then. I'll be sure to tell the owner of Ellyn's of your generosity." Rolen will purchase his things and wait for Cat.

Cat comes out of the fitting room dressed in the traveling clothes she bought, and the leathers in a neat bundle in her small hands. "They're a little big but fit alright. Do you really think we'll need them though?" dhe asks both Rolen and Bartholomew. "Maybe we should be getting back to the others."
Jan 31, 2017 12:51 am
"It is up to you, however, I bought a set as I'd rather be safe than sorry." Rolen answers back showing Cat the plain leather set he bought "I have to stop to one more location for rations, if the others want to adventure unprepared, then waiting will do no harm."

"Rations. Right. How much for the leathers, Bartholomew?"

For that set, normally 20 gold. But I'll give you a discount, since you two seem a good lot going a long way. Let's call it 17 gold, yeah?

"This is taking too long. I'm loading up the wagon. Is everyone else ready to leave?"
Jan 31, 2017 4:07 am
Baraq continues south, scouting the path the party will take. She eyes the terrain for possible areas of ambush, campsites, and potential hunting grounds.

Cat pays and thanks Bartholomew, then follows Rolen to Ellyn's.

"I have everything I need. I believe we are only waiting on our noble companions."

OOC:
I'm fine with skipping this bit, for the sake of the other players.

I am assuming this is common knowledge and hopefully there will be another town closer to the base of the mountain.

Begin to head off I'll go find those two. Ada runs back into town so search for the two shoppers.

OOC:
It is common knowledge. As for what towns and such there may be you may not know.
You make ready your horses and carts and set off headed north out of the town. By the time you leave, it's a good day for flying. Plenty of breeze and a clear blue sky.
