"Stay here, Chuck-chuck!" Catriona whispers to the squirrel as Xavena summons her from the tent. Out in the night air her fingertips flicker with a pale light she prepares a spell in case it should come to a fight.
OOC:
Readying to cast Faerie Fire on the orcs and half-ogre the moment a fight begins.

The three orcs look to one another and then back to Krieger. They saunter over toward the svirfneblin and take a knee in front of him.

What are your orders, my liege? the lead one says in broken Common, bowing his head.

Seeing the orcs take knee, Rolen aims his crossbow at the Half-Ogre, waiting for any unfriendly movements.

Ada's Action: Ada struggles to fully wake up and is relatively unawares of the developments taking place.

The half ogre moves over toward the orcs. He doesn't take a knee, rather, coming to attention and thumping his chest in a kind of salute.

As the orcs and half-ogre seem attentive to Krieger, Baraq remains where she stands to back up the gnome.
Feb 17, 2017 5:55 am
"Wait here," Krieger instructs his new followers before heading back to the group. "They won't be a problem for some time."
Feb 17, 2017 6:00 am
"Couldn't you send them away? Or are we keeping them as servants?" then Catriona has another thought: "Shouldn't we at least ask them what they're doing here, where they're headed?"
Feb 20, 2017 2:52 pm
Going to drop us out of initiative for the time being. Feel free to do what you'd like. If something comes up that requires us to go back to turn-by-turn, we'll redo init at that point.

As Krieger walks away from the orcs and half-ogre, you see them looking at the little dark gnome with a mixed look of confusion and reverence. They do stand where they are, assuming a position similar to a military at ease, with hands clasped behind their backs.
Feb 20, 2017 5:54 pm
Baraq squawks, "If they're your servants, they've arrived late." She slings her warhammer and shield and says, "You should have told us that you were bringing along soldiers. I hope for your sake they aren't expecting payment from our share."
Feb 20, 2017 6:26 pm
"Oh no, those aren't mine. Not all the time anyway. I imagine they will try to kill us when the enchantment wears off."
Feb 20, 2017 6:40 pm
"Where'd they come from? Are there others?" I walk past the group and attempt to figure out which direction they came from.

Xavena, you can easily tell that they came from up the hills. They weren't overly concerned with covering their tracks and it only takes you about 15 minutes to find the dirty cave you are sure was their sleeping place the past few days.
Feb 20, 2017 10:05 pm
Krieger walks up to his temporary minions, mace in hand. "What were you doing here?"
Feb 20, 2017 10:09 pm
Gathering food and supplies, sir. one of the orcs in back grates out in Common.
Feb 20, 2017 10:15 pm
"Did you intend to attack this group before you saw that I was with them?"
Feb 20, 2017 10:20 pm
Of course. You all travel, and have goods. It would have set us up for some time. The same one replies.
