You all continue along, not coming across another caravan. Your aerial friends see some other caravans on the road, but they are moving away from you at your pace or faster. The sun sets behind the horizon and within two hours, you find yourselves approaching a town. As you get closer, there is a sign near the road proclaiming this to be Longsaddle!

Finally a town I wonder if they have an ancient works of stone or a decent place to mine for stone gems. Ada says this to no one in particular. She is used to being alone and talking to herself. She quickens her stride.

As you roll into town, you see some folks milling about. There is a sign pointing the way to the Sweating Goat. If you head that direction, you find a three story building, one of the few that size in town. It dominates that section of the road, clearly a place for travelers to land for a night on the Long Road.

I think we should rest the night here perhaps acquire a bit more provisions before heading off

You have traveled now for a good 9 or 10 hours today. If you keep that pace, you are probably another 7 or 8 days from the mountains. Obviously if you go at a faster pace, you can cut that down to 5 or 6 days, but you would incur penalties on the ability to hunt for food during your travel and would take a hit on perception checks.Mar 16, 2017 8:58 pm

You all make your way into the establishment and can easily acquire rooms for a silver each. If you want to board outdoors, there is no charge, but you also get no food with it.
If you'd like, you can RP your time in the tavern, otherwise, you wake up easily and set off again the next morning.

Ada only has one drink before going about town to search for a map of the area and to see if another town lay ahead as to prepare if there is a need.

Unfortunately, there are no cartographers in town. As you ask about, the few people you check with give you a quizzical look.
Lass, there's small towns all along the Long Road, nearly the whole way up to the mountains. If you push hard and aren't overly delayed or lazy in travelin' you'll have no problem findin' beds to rest in along the way.
