Baraq's blow sends the leader reeling onto Ada's javelin. The group surrounding Baraq and Ada take their swings. Only one gets through to Baraq, dealing 4 (2 after rage resistance) damage. Likewise, only one gets through on Ada, thanks to a quick placement of her shield, dealing 2 damage.

The leader tries getting in on Baraq, only to miss pitifully with all three. The idea of fighting a bird is clearly not sitting well with him for some reason.

OOC:
Sorry for the delay, I was hoping Krieger would post his action.
Krieger, stunned momentarily by the furious clash takes a moment and does all he can to avoid being hit. The leader, pulls his head back in surprise at Cat's attack, not entirely believing that she would attack him. The cloud of poison drifts over his eyes and nose causing him to cry out in pain.

The batch of bandits look about themselves, somewhat unsure now that they've seen comrades hit by a furious bird and others. Maybe we shouldn't push our luck here, just cut and run! They turn to flee! Disengaging and running back toward the tall grasses.

Aera's bolt slams through the throat of one of the fleeing bandits, causing him to fall in a sputtering gout of blood. Between Baraq and Rolen, they manage to break the arm of the leader and drop him to the ground, a bolt fletching-deep in his chest as his eyes flutter closed. Ada's javelin slashes the hamstring of a retreating bandit and he falls to the ground with a scream. Finally, Xavena lands on one of the fleeing men, tripping him up and ending up with him sprawled face-first in the dirt and grass.

The rest of the bandits, terrified by the destruction of their leader, drop their weapons and throw their hands into the air.

Please, stop, we didn't mean nothin' bad by it!
Combat is ostensibly over, though if you'd like to continue round-based stuff, we can.
May 25, 2017 3:53 pm
"Nothing bad?" repeats Baraq with a screech. She stalks forward in anger, wings flaring out to make her look bigger. "You draw steel on us and expect a laugh?"

Ada approaches the man with a bolt in his chest and the man spluttering blood. She quickly removes the bolts and begins to mutter an incantation as her hands begin to glow.

Rolen strolls up to the fallen leader, giving Ada a look of scorned as he passes her, and places his boot on the leader's throat "I highly suggest not going down that route; unless you want this trail to become your final resting place, regroup your men and leave." He gleams down at the prone leader "Does that sound familiar to you? Now, since you so boldly declined my first offer, I'll give you a new one; give me one good reason why I shouldn't crush in your Adam's apple."
OOC:
Each time he tries to speak, Rolen will put a little more pressure with his boot.
May 26, 2017 2:19 pm
Catriona looks on as Rolen puts the fear in the peasant bandit. Countless times, she's witnessed her father deal with the househelp in exactly the same way.
May 27, 2017 11:03 pm
Baraq, in her rage, hops forward like a raptor and swings her warhammer at the unarmed bandit before her, looking to cave the man's face in.
May 28, 2017 1:36 pm
The leader blinks as Ada's healing magic washes over him, only to see Rolen standing on his throat. At first, a snarl flashes across his face but quickly fades. I have no reason, your aristocratic bastards will always take what you want. Do your worst, you've already judged me. With that his eyes close and he tries to roll his head to one side.
May 29, 2017 12:16 am
"Do not place this on us, we are not the ones dressed as bandits hiding in tall grasses, we were not the ones who began to take flanking positions, I was the one who offered you to walk away safely; you have judged yourselves." Rolen removes his boot, bends down, and lifts the man up by his collar "If it was up to me, I'd throw you to the birds and let them do as they please; you better pray to whomever you believe in that she doesn't hold a grudge like me." He lifts the man up then pushes him to his knees, kicking where the leg folds if he resists, in front of Cat.
May 29, 2017 12:19 am
Baraq, meanwhile, continues her assault on the other bandits. If they flee, she chases. If they surrender, she attempts to take their eyes. The aarakocra screeches with the thrill of the hunt.
May 29, 2017 7:17 pm
There is no need for anyone to die! Lets just take them in and allow the court to deal with them. We are not the Judge Jury and Executioner! There's a reason I wasn't trying to kill them.
