OOC:
Xavena is fine to leave bodies out to rot. Food for the earth.

Ada will begin to dig a hole with her war pick seeing that no onw is helping her.
Jun 23, 2017 7:58 am
Catriona wolf looks up at Rolen, waiting to see what he will do.

OOC:
Thought I posted what I did to that, sorry.
Rolen nods to Cat then makes his way back to the carriage and waits there for movement.

OOC:
It's going to take Ada the better part of 8-10 hours to dig enough space out to bury the bodies that are here. And that's burying SHALLOW. Given that no one is assisting, I'll say they make motions to leave.
As Ada toils away with her pick at the ground, the rest of you pile into the wagons and set out to finish the journey to the village some 2 or 3 miles distant. As you get into the village there is little of interest. Two taverns flank the road as you enter. On the left is the Stuck Pig and on the right is the Cracked Tankard. Other than that, no tall buildings, everything but the taverns are single story affairs. You can spot a smithy not too far past the taverns, but everything else appears to be small residences from what you can see.

Baraq takes to the sky once again to provide eyes from above. However, she is distracted in her aerial reconnaissance with looking through her pickings from the bandits.

Catriona has by this time reverted back to her true form and resumed her usual seat beside Krieger but there are still bloodstains around her mouth.

OOC:
Omg this dirt must be made of stone!

OOC:
Having spent a fair amount of time on a shovel, a 2' x 6' x 3' hole would likely take a single person between 90 minutes and 3 hours with a shovel. You're digging a trench or individual graves for like 8 or 9 bodies. With a warpick.

Given that, even nice soft dirt would take you about that long.

Krieger has taken his seat in the wagon and is examining what he was able to find on the bandits, trying to determine any value the metal itself might have.
Jun 26, 2017 2:29 pm
Aera takes a moment to fly over the town to get it fixed in his mind and then flies off to go hunting for his meal.
Jun 29, 2017 5:12 pm
OOC:
Well then I will just be putting them into a very VERY shallow grave.
Jun 29, 2017 5:59 pm
As you go through the bodies, you find a bunch of coins and a handful of small gems.

"So that's the town. Now what?"

As for the men's gear when you searched, they all are wearing suits of leather armor. There are 8 suits, though not all are in good repair at this state. You could easily take them if you choose. Weapons, four of them carry scimitars and the other four carry short swords. The leader has a suit of studded leather armor with decorative embellishments on and had a scimitar and a pair of daggers. Of the lot of them, none really had any scrap metal, unless you plan is to scrap out the swords.

Baraq hangs onto the star rose quartz and takes 300 silver, leaving the rest of the loot for the others.

At the town, Baraq looks between the two taverns and decides to enter the Stuck Pig, looking to gauge the atmosphere and perhaps find a meal.
OOC:
Total gold value is 600, divided by seven characters leaves about 85 per. Baraq took 80 gp.

Cat waits to see which tavern Rolen will pick. She's not hungry but she'll be wanting a hot bath.
Jul 11, 2017 8:03 pm
Rolen picks the nicer looking of the two taverns and pays for Cat's room, giving her the biggest room if there is that option. Without any words, he goes into his room and closes the door.

Rolen and Cat make their way into the Cracked Tankard. Once inside, you find they have no difference in room size, but they do have amenity packages which can be purchased. These include things like hot baths, room served meals, linen service, etc.

The Tankard is pretty quiet this evening, a few individuals sitting in comfortable looking seats enjoying wine in actual glassware. A tiefling harpist sits in one corner, plucking a gentle tune. The smell of cinnamon and spice is heavy in the air.

Baraq stalks into the Stuck Pig and finds it pretty rowdy already. A pair of dwarves are drunk in front of the fire, crooning a song about, well, you can't quite tell. There's a press of people and two haggard-looking serving wenches struggling to keep everyone in food and drink. On a large placard over the bar, you see their daily special is stuffed rabbit with a side of mushroom stew.
