Game detail and PM page problems

I don't know if this is user error as it only seems to be effecting one of my games

causes the page to stay like this. Alternating from orange and white like it is loading but never does.

I'm trying to figure out what's going on, but it doesn't make sense...

Yeah, it struck me as odd as well. If it helps any it is happening for me on mobile as well, even after clearing everything off it.

No, there's some weird error on the backend I don't understand... I found the chargeninfo was breaking it. I had to remove it. No idea what's going on with PMs though...

That was fast, good work, it seems that the detail page works again.

I am able to send PMs when I go to profiles and click the 'Send Private Message' button and I'm guessing it is a small group, if only me, unable to load the page, as I sent a message and got a reply that I can't view.

Edit: Whatever you did seemed to help, the page now loads but doesn't show anything.

I figured out what's causing the problem, but not what's wrong. I found a new method to make non-English characters easier to handle, but it looks like it didn't work as expected... it just failed silently without any errors...

Well both the problems I had with it seem to be gone now. The detail page loads and I can view my PMs so you fixed something. If you need to mess around with my PM page as a guinea pig, feel free to.

I reverted to the old code.

Oh, I read the new method was a fix, I see now. I wonder why I was seemingly the only one effected by it.

The chargen details you put up originally had some strange characters in them, likewise, I assume a PM you got had weird characters in it.

I don't see anything that look to be considered weird characters.

Wasn't necessarily your latest; it prefetches data from all the PMs on that page. Plus, it could be an invisible character.
