Just took the average 7 for my HP increase this level.

So the handbook says at every level I take "1d10 + your constitution modifier per ranger level after 1st"... and I'm not really sure what that means? :S Can someone explain?

Means you gain 1d10+1 hit points innit?

Edit: or 6 HP, if you take the average plus modifier like Shamush did?

Okay that's what I thought, but the wording was a little odd, and I half wondered if it meant that I was supposed to add my con modifier twice (since we're now two levels above first) - but that seemed like a bit much. Will do!

Other class features this level: Hunter archetype (taking the Colossus Slayer feature), and the ability to make Poultices.

ETA: No biscuits today, it seems... ah well, I rolled max HP last time.

A question about dice and trust. While I really appreciate the auto-roller built in to the forum software, I find myself missing the feel and excitement of using actual dice. I was wondering if anyone would object to me rolling physical dice and then reporting the result in my posts? I would probably still use the auto-roller a fair amount, for times when I am posting from a location that is not conducive to rolling dice (waiting in line, sitting on the loo, driving my car, etc). This would also necessitate me finding a place to purchase a set of polyhedral dice, as the last set I had disappeared long ago, so wouldn't begin right away.

Yes, we're all honest dealers here, any of you are free to use dice that exist in the prime material plane for your rolls.

Man, I wish I could do that, but my physical dice treat me about as well as the GP dice roller. Though I'm thankful I'm not afflicted with the Wheaton.

Just FYI, I'm using this site to generate goblinspeak. I haven't gone full Tolkien with the made-up languages or anything.
