Looks like these will be my stats. I was thinking Cleric or Magic User. Cleric might be better for the group.

The only thing better than two elves, is an elf and a dwarf! Tossunder Ironhead. Toss for short (2 for 1, you're welcome).

Personality
Alignment: Lawful
A former soldier, he is uncomfortable with the word hero -- but that is where his path leads him. To right wrongs, help those in need, battle monstrous creatures...but his secret motivation is simply to distract and distance him from painful memories.

Background
Age: 40
Toss always did the right thing. He understood when his older brother inherited the family fortune. He held his head high when he was passed over for promotion in the army in favor of children of the generals. He was an attentive husband and involved father, who had the majority of his pay sent to support his mother and young family while he was away on behalf of the clan. He soldiered on when ordered to participate in a senseless aggression against a nearby hobgoblin hive -- but this is where things went horribly wrong. Although the clansmen prevailed, the hobgoblins dispatched a raiding party just before they were destroyed to wreak havoc on the clan homeland. Toss returned from this tour of duty to find his home a burnt husk and his wife and children dead, and his story was one of many in the lower class part of the clan. Of course, the secured stone villas of the upper class and generals were untouched.

This nearly broke him -- he still believes in doing the right thing, but now on his own terms. He set out to find his way in the world, hoping that adventure would distract him from his memories.
