I originally grew up playing hero/warhammer quest and then played some D&D/CoC when I got a bit older. I have been playing some pbp games for a few years via email/forums and then had to stop due to life getting in the way (as always!). Anyway, really glad to have found such a great gaming site & hoping to start again by setting up a Cthulhu Dark campaign in the near future. Nice to meet you all!

Welcome Keeper! I hope GP can keep more active for you. I can say from personal experience, people are definitely accommodating of RL getting in the way (as long as you have some notice!). Of course, on my side, it may be because I run the site, though I hope I'm not getting special treatment, heh.

Hi Keeper! Glad to see another Call of Cthulhu enthusiast here. I've had a CoC rulebook for better than 20 years, but have never played and have only ever read the character creation bits, because it was a game I wanted to play first, and without any foreknowledge. Years have passed, years of madness. I just bought the 7th edition Keeper and Investigator books, and look forward to using Gamers Plane to finally explore this institutional game with the community.
