Withdrawing a Character

I just want to confirm something before anything potentially catastrophic occurs...

There was a player death (me) in a campaign that I am playing in. I am about to introduce a new PC. Can I withdraw my old (dead) PC without any repercussions to the forums' content?

I took a look, and I can say with reasonable confidence that removing your character and swapping in a new one shouldn't have any affect on previous posts. It definitely won't delete any data on the forums, but if something does go wonky, I'll fix it.
