I think you're talking two different games. Basic Fantasy Role-playing Game is an actual system, rather than a descriptor of any generic fantasy system. You can download the rules for free at the link provided.
Pathfinder is, of course, a separate system.

Lulz my bad man, I thought you meant you wanted to join a basic (as in classic style) game, I didn't realize you were talking about a system. You want to drop the campaign? You're more than welcome to play but you don't have to if you found what you were looking for elsewhere.
