Papa Flight:

The silent signal drops, and the battering ram slams into Prust's door. It rattles hard and splinters in the middle, but is still on its hinges providing total cover.

One of the men on the ram calls out "Room service, motherfuckers!" and the other calls out "Come on out little man!"

The crossbowman readies an attack action for anything that comes through Prust's door.

1d20+1 : (15) + 1 = 16

1d20+1 : (3) + 1 = 4

Finn quickly turns to the wall where Aldrick and attempts to break through it. Im coming through Aldrick!

The dagger should not be getting an attack bonus

Finn's dagger glances off the wood panels but the axe digs deep and splits a good chunk out. He still can't get through.

Delta Flight

"Here's Johnny!" the two ramsmen yell in unison as they swing the ram. The crossbow man fires off a shot at the figure in the dark.

Dwalia's door breaks wide open. She sits up to see what is the matter, then dives back down at the hurtling crossbow bolt. It narrowly misses her, and she lets out a panicked scream for help.

Ram damage - (2d6)

(66) = 12

"Drop the weapons or die, Dwarf!" they demand.

The leader takes a shot and it flies wide.

Thorin is rudely awakened by the Hundred Swords nearly knocking his door down in the middle of the night.

Tango's leader readies an action to shoot at anyone coming out of the door.

Hearing Dwalia scream next door, Torden doesn't hesitate: he flings Prust's door open and blasts everyone outside it with a deafening thunderclap.

The two mercenaries drop the ram and claw at their ears in futility, slumping over dead moments later. The crossbowman manages to fire a bolt off before turning and shielding himself somewhat from the blast. The bolt goes wide by a healthy margin.

All the mercenaries felt that awful feeling when you realize that cake walk was going to turn into a fight for their lives.

Aldrik takes a few swings at his attackers, starting with the chumps holding the battering ram.

Nonlethal damage if any of this would be a kill, I suppose.

It takes a full action to don or drop a shield (phb 146). Instead of making you reroll your lovely maul crits, let's say you didn't have your shield in the first place.

Both of the men holding the ram are knocked unconscious instantly by Aldrik's savage blows. The crossbowman fumbles to reload, cursing under his breath.

Prust goes into full battle rage and leaps past Torden into Papa flight's crossbowman, battle axe in two hands and knocks the wind out of him with a bow to the abdomen.

The sole survivor of Papa Flight is dazed and badly hurt. Remembering his training, he regroups with Foxtrot Flight outside of Finn's door and tries to regain his composure. He throws his crossbow to the side and draws steel.
