Issue #1: The Coming Storm

I glance back briefly and see Mimic casting a shadow over us. "Wow, you really know how to make an entrance! Where's Crow?"

"And where is Omen? Let's get inside." She heads for the front door.

Omen had followed the directions sent to her until she arrived in the general area of the source. Her eyes narrow as she takes it all in.

Sliding down the light body once at their location Void Fist looks around. Shuffles off a bit and takes a selfie with the team that's shown up so far in the background. Pulling his phone on silent he pulls up his facemask. "We going in covert? I got this!" Void Fist offers moving to the nearest shadows to access inside and possible take something if possible 'for superhero purposes'.

"Right. Okay!" I follow behind Procyon.

Crow appears in a flash of pale blue light. "What are we doing? What's going on? Who did that thing?"

I hear Crow appear somewhere behind me. I turn and wave, then head into the building after Procyon, whipping out my phone to text the other missing team member. Omen. Status? See anything?

Omen steps up from an alleyway nearby, doing her best to pull the "appear from nowhere" superhero technique, "Nothing out here, but it should be inside somewhere."

Do we need to make our own entrance ?

"I can sense some kind of energy high up in the building," she said, filling in the rest of the group. "Whatever this machine is, that must be it."

I could leap up there and make a hole, is that what we need to do ? Hecate asks Emma.

Which floor, could you point it out.

"Er...let me get back to you on that," she said, just a little flushed as she quickly propelled herself back up into the air. She flew higher this time as she shut her eyes, trying to pin-point the exact location of that energy source.

"If it's some kind of machine gone wrong, maybe we can just cut the power?"

Oh uhmn, yeah I guess that could work too. Hecate blinked and felt a bit foolish.

"We should wreck it. What if someone restores its power?" Aeon looks around for a stairwell.

"True, but we gotta find it first. And technically, we're not supposed to hang out near construction zones."

"Come on! We can do what we want!" Aeon calls over his shoulder. She's still miffed because of that fire. One time!

Omen charges up to the construction, using her superhuman strength and speed to scale the support beams and climb the structure, attempting to look through to find what could be causing this.
