In the closing pages of this issue, first we see Omen, still working back on the ship, trying to focus on deciphering this strange piece of technology, but her thoughts keep shifting back to her friends-- Are they her friends?
There's a splash panel of the rest of the team sitting down to rest after a well-earned victory, the seven of them clustered around a table enjoying themselves, not unlike a certain shawarma restaurant scene. There are a few TVs playing the news coverage of Sunspot talking all about how he saved the day. Void Fist almost knocking over the table more than a few times trying to figure out his new toy, but does figure out that there is a small, but powerful, grappling hook built into one end. The rest of the group gets a bit of a laugh out of seeing him get the hook lodged in the hole in Mimic's face for a minute or so.
The final page picks up The next day, where a woman in white crawls out of the burning wreckage of a prison transport. She raises a cell phone, stolen from an officer's body, to her face, removing the broken cuffs from her wrists as it rings. Someone picks up. "It's Thirteen. Did Swords get what they were after?"
"Good. We'll need it."
