"Where the orcs are is where we belong," Baern says, patting his warhammer grimly.

Ryyrik tired of all this talking, is already making his way to the direction that was pointed out.

"Agreed. If we have a solid lead on orc movements, we should probably act on that. All this ice hasn't changed our original mission, just delayed it."

Phineas offers to pull Dirk's sled for awhile.

Billy gladly hands the sled harness over to Phineas. He takes the pole and begins trudging ahead, his spirits lifted someone by the appearance of living, unfrozen people. He begins whistling a jaunty marching tune.

Ulfren remains behind the sled, pushing it with his quarterstaff to help guide it along.

"Wagons. Have we stumbled upon Orcish supply lines? I would expect they would pillage for supplies, but a siege might have necessitated more organization."

"Say, do you recall that story of how Dirk once captured a Hobgoblin supply train, then ran the wagons stuffed full of his soldiers into the heart of the enemy's camp? That was a good tale."

Ryyrik places his boot into the tracks left and kneels down, scooping up some mud from the tracks and smelling it.

Ulfren waits patiently, his attention on Ryyrik's investigation.

Billy leans over to Phineas, nods his head toward Ryyrik, and says, Now he finds the patience ta gather information?

Well, to his credit, the footprints aren't likely to murder anyone.

Baern remains silent.

Ryyrik spits on the tracks and takes off in their direction.

"I guess we're underway again," grunts Ulfren. He pushes the sled with his quarterstaff to prompt Phineas to move on.

Seeing that the squad is on the move again, Gunnar moves also, still off to the flank.
