"You are sorely testin' me patience!" Ulfren roars, watching the elf-thing refuse Phineas' request. "Bend lower so's I can yell it in your ear!" He swings the poll of his axe once more, aiming for the knee, looking to incapacitate the creature.

Billy pulls out his dulcimer and begins playing a mournful Elvish tune as he walks straight toward the elf. I shur am sorry it looks like ya died and been turned inta this, he says. I promise ta do my best ta get to the bottom of what happened and stop it happenin' ta anyone else.

Doing a Religion check on the elf and using Billy's approach and music as the Help action to give the next attacker advantage.

Without orders to stand down, Gunnar keeps firing. He wishes he had a better position for sniping but it can't be helped. He uses the distraction afforded by Billy to his advantage.

Bily can tell this thing is a wight and prayed for this to happen to it to save it from the after life.

Gunnar connects and takes a good chunk out of the wight.

Ryyrik narrowly misses as the thing moves from Gunnar's shot.

Ryyrick must make a Con saving through or loose 6 hp off his total max hit points until he takes a long rest. DC is 13.

Phineas stows his walking stick. The air swirls around him, his hair and clothes rippling as dust and dead leaves scatter around him.

Whatever justice can be had in using the magic of the Elves against this abomination, I will carry out. There is nothing left for it.

He ignites a flame in his hand and hurls it at the creature.

"No idea what you said, Phineas," barks Ulfren, "but this thing needs a lesson in manners!" He swings his axe again, this time keeping with the blade, and targets the elf-thing's legs.

Phineas hits the thing with a flame in the chest, causing it to spin a little, opening up it's defenses for Ulfren to sing his axe. The axe swings true and slices right through the creatures torso almost halving it. It stands there looking at you ass Gunnar raises the barrel and fires a shot, and with a loud smack, the things head explodes.

Ryyrik gives the body a heavy kick before falling to the floor, unable to deal with the reality and thoughts he is having, tears begin falling from his eyes.

I can cast Cure Wounds if Ryyrik needs it. Would love it if I could flavor that spell as a really stiff drink that Gunnar invented. I hope that's ok.

Ryyrik grabs the drink monotonously, "My deepest fears have come to light..." He takes a gulp of the drink, his face doesn't react to the taste "Our halls are empty, our hearths run cold. Our kin have been left to rot while this fuck," He delivers another heavy kick to the elf corpse "Stains this home and feasts on our fallen."

Phineas tries to remain optimistic.

"Our halls may yet be full and warm! Our outer defences are clearly compromised, but perhaps there is an attack under way? Perhaps they have yet to breach our gates?"

Ulfren has already charged further into the outpost looking for whoever or whatever troubles this place, rage guiding his every step.
