Albiofer stares at his spider for a moment and then everybody watches it scurry along behind them to the other door, perching where it can watch the doorway and the drow. "Let me check the door first..." Albiofer scans the door prodding it with his thin lengths of wire and small hooked tools searching for any traps or locks.

He finds nothing.

"Looks good to me, who wants to go in first?" Albiofer backs away from the door, letting the bigger Dwarves go first.

Frigga paws at the doorknob, asking someone to open it so she can go through first.
Dec 5, 2020 2:10 am
"Right," says Ulfren. "That elf seemed to think this went somewhere better than staying with us, so we'll probably find a lot of fun things to play with."

He pulls open the secret door.

Frigga (in bear form) bursts through the now opened door, rushing in.
OOC:
What does she see as she barrels through the door?
Dec 6, 2020 2:04 am
Hannibal will be right behind her, ready to back her up if things get hairy. Well hairier.

The room appears to be a more luxurious room than the drow had, possibly a superior officer. The room has normal living quarters furniture and supplies, a bed, chairs, a few wardrobes, a table and a bookshelf. The room is empty now though, and by the coldness of the room and the dust, it looks like it has been for a little while now.

Wuknit follows along a few feet behind the dwarves. Keeping an eye on the path they have just come from in case anyone starts to follow the group
Dec 9, 2020 1:26 am
Ulfren looks at the furniture, then the door across the way. "Let's move on. There are hallways we hadn't checked, plus the mines with our weird-minded kin," he says, before looking at Albiofer. "Can you check the door?"
Dec 9, 2020 3:05 am
"Of course." Albiofer takes out his tools and once again gingerly runs his fingers around the door, then slowly manipulates the lock to check for locks and a trap.
OOC:
Out of curiosity, I tried to compare maps but the other one wasn't loading. Where are we on the map?

OOC:
I believe we're in the southwest corner, in the room at the very bottom of the map. There's a hallway that looks like it was a secret passage.
Dec 9, 2020 3:22 am
OOC:
Ok thanks
Dec 9, 2020 2:17 pm
Indeed, you are in the southwest corner. The door is locked, but not trapped and you click the lock to unlock it.
Dec 9, 2020 4:03 pm
"Alright it's open. Are we bustin in or sneakin?"
Dec 9, 2020 4:33 pm
Ulfren is about to say something, but pauses a bit before he continues, "I forget that you all just got freed. I think the best way is to sneak where we can to find out what we can, and bust in when we can't do either. The last time we tried just busting into this drow-filled place... well, let's just say I came here with 4 other dwarves before we found Wuknit."
Dec 9, 2020 5:23 pm
Frigga shakes her head up and down in agreement to Ulfren's statement.

Albiofer smiles and rubs his hands. "Well sneakin is my specialty, just give me a minute." Albiofer puts out a telepathic call for his spider to come into the room, picking him up he moves him gingerly next to the door. "Everybody stand back, I'll get a look from the other side." Moving to the back of the room, Albiofer focuses on the door and the spider as you see his eyes start to glaze over.
OOC:
Is there a gap that the spider can fit through? if not, I'm going to use mage hand from across the room to open the door a crack to let the spider through then look through his eyes.
