Ease up on that poor creature, Ulfren, Billy chastises the barbarian as he searches through his bag and walks casually toward the spiders. Holding up a bit of food, he says, There now, boyos. No need to fight us. We won't hurt you.

Phineas places the wooden shield on his body and intones a spell in elvish. The shield grows to form a suit of thorny, wooden armour that encases Phineas from head to toe. Then, he Wild Shapes, assuming the form of a brown bear, and the wooden armour grows to adapt to his large form.
The armoured bear roars at the Drider, a bestial challenge of dominance.

Billy gently scratches his spider between its eyes and leads it away from the battle. There now, you just stand over there out of danger for a bit. He turns and looks at Ryyrick. And let's see what we can do about you. He kneels next to the fallen ranger and puts his hand on his forehead. Healing energy flows from one to the other.
